... and we do have an issue where this error is thrown when projected and geographic coordinate system are used in the same Suitability model. Therefore please make sure that all your data are in a projected coordinate system.

Your data don't need to have the same cell size or extent. The final output will be resampled to the largest cell size of your input criteria. The extent relies on what area is common to all criteria. The first criterion that causes the error to be thrown, does it have the same coordinate system as the criteria already transformed?

Rather than have all the rasters in the map, you can browse to the rasters and using shift click select first and last. This is much quicker than manually adding them.

What format is your input criterion, is it a .tiff or a fgdb raster or an Esri grid? What happens if you create a full resolution Suitability raster (hit run at the bottom of the Suitability pane) Please post a screen shot of the transformation pane showing the 2 graphs.

The nearest neighbor assignment resampling technique is the default because it is applicable to both discrete and continuous value types, while the other resampling types—bilinear interpolation and cubic convolution—are only applicable to continuous data. Certain tools, such as the tools in the Surface toolset, will use bilinear interpolation as the default interpolation technique.
