I just tried to create labels in JScript and it looks like it is working!! In the screenshot you can see the expression and labels in ArcMap and the RunTime application (version 100.0).

We would like to show complex labels in RunTime. We use ArcMap to create a mpk and we use the advanced option in labels. If the labels are in VBScript we get a message that it is not supported. If the labels are in Python we create a mpk and load it to runtime with no errors but the labels are not visible (got a bug from ESRI on this). I understand it should work if you use arcade in pro but we use ArcMap to create mpk's Anybody doing it? Thanks

I have done some checks and I think I know the answer. I think most people are using this command to truncate the layer (delete all records). In 10.0 the GP would just delete row by row keeping the spatial index. In 10.1 the GP delete the spatial index, delete the row and rebuild the index. If you delete all records it is much faster. If you delete just a few records it takes time to rebuild the index for the remaining records. That is what I found checking trace file of enterprise geodatabase, I this it is the same for FGDB.

Hi Chaim Even the FGDB format is not open there is a free library that can read and update it (simple features). Look here: File Geodatabase API details | ArcGIS Blog It is true that for many non ESRI software it is easier to keep using the shape files and not implement this library but it is possible. I need to create a "city profile". You can see something similar in the attachment. I can do it if I do a profile every meter and then append them together but there must be a better way. I am doing some wind analysis, and need to know what areas will be blocked from the wind (in any height above ground). Any ideas?

I think I found the way! If you have your authorization in MyEsri you can create a report. When you are in report mode on the top left you can choose to make the report on Authorization Activity (the default is Authorization only). In this report you have the UMN ID1/2 columns. When you open ArcGIS administrator on any machine you can press the Machine ID button and get the UMN 1/2 for this machine. Matching the UMN can help you identify the ESU you are using on that machine. I hope it help others...

Hi Curtis We do not use provision files in this case. We just start the authorization and type the registration number. The provision file will not include the machine name or MAC Address in it.

Hi All In floating license you can see the last 4 digits of the EFL number in the license server manager. Is there any way to see the registration number of the ESU after it was registered? I have a few machines (up and running) that have single use license but I cannot remember the original numbers. There should be at least a way to see the last 4 digits. Thanks

Hi If you build a Mosaic Dataset you can digitize the boundary of your raster to anything you like. You can even try to use BuildFootprint to digitize it for you. It can give you nice results if you select the correct parameters. You can even export the mosaic dataset tile and will get NoData outside the footprint polygon but you cannot export to ECW. Have fun

Pro have 3 types of licenses. The default is ArcGIS on-line license. You should have a license in your on-line user. You can make the pro license just like ArcMap license (Float or single) and you can put the license on your portal. You must speak with your ESRI representative if you like to change the default.

Another important question here is what is a "different" path. If 90% of the segment are the same - is it different path? When you do routing in google it gives you different paths. I would try to select the longest segment in the path and block it but I am not sure what will be the results.

AddRaster is looking for rasters, not layer files. You can choose any directory but if it has no rasters it will not find anything. AddRaster uses the raster itself and not the information (renderer, etc) in the layer file and you usually will not have 100 layer files for 100 individual rasters in a directory. Habe fun
