Hi Deborah - this is good feedback and I will bring it to the team for further discussion. Your requirements make sense. From the ArcGIS side of things, I believe there are certain privileges a collaboration coordinator requires and the most efficient way to verify that a user in that role has the correct privileges is to require one of the known roles that has the correct privileges. We want to explore ways of improving app creation and sharing such that all apps, maps, layers that are being shared together as one piece of content have the appropriate sharing levels & permissions. Hi Ricky - I'm a product manager on the field apps team.  There are no plans to update Explorer to this version of the runtime. In the next year or so Explorer will be deprecated in favor of ArcGIS Field Maps, which can do everything Explorer does (and more!). Field Maps will be launched on version 100.9 of the runtime this fall, and current users of Explorer on iOS and Android should start considering a transition plan from ArcGIS Explorer to ArcGIS Field Maps within their organizations.
