@TristanBest what Worksheets or Workbooks are you expecting to see that aren't being created? The additional tabs (worksheets) in each workbook (file) are based on the domains in your source data. If your source data doesn't have any domains, then you won't get any by default. If you need to do translation you can always use the global mapping sheet, or create your own worksheets from scratch to do the translation.

This is currently working as designed, in that the modify terminal assignment tool allows you to manually assign terminal connections to whichever pipes you want. Especially in the case of a device with a directional terminal configuration the system cannot know which side is upstream/downstream. There are quite a few legitimate scenarios in several industries where you can have more than one line connected to the same terminal. This is why we don't create a topology error. You could create a validation rule to check for this situation. You are welcome to create separate ideas for any enhancements you want to see, and the team can evaluate them.

@TristanBest The tool will create the sheet based on your current model, and your job is to fill out the lookupsheet, keys, etc to show the tools how to translate your current data model to the target data model.

@gis_KIWI4 is correct. The data reference/mapping sheets generated by the tools are unique to your data. The tables, fields, and domains are based on your data, not the local government model used in the tutorial.

We are saying the same thing, so I'll try my response in a different way. You cannot remove any asset groups or asset types from the utility network. This means that if you unassign a domain then assign a different domain and any of the codes or descriptions are different, it will fail and you will get this message. We do plan on allowing you to change descriptions of asset types/groups in later releases, but there is still not a timeline on adding support for removing codes.

@jsarthur I updated my response to make it clearer I was responding to the question @aperi asked. The tabbing/indenting on the community site sometimes makes it hard to track the separate threads.

Intakes are configured to be able to be used as subnetwork controllers in the system tier of the model, they just aren't configured to be controllers of the pressure tier of the model. For the reasons that Pierreloup and myself listed.

In ArcGIS Pro 3.6 and earlier, once you have assigned a domain to an asset group, you cannot remove any of the codes or descriptions associated with it. If you unassign the domain then assign a different domain to the asset group that has different codes/descriptions, you will get this error.

A feature can only be a subnetwork controller for a single tier, so if you make it a controller for the pressure tier then it won't be considered as a source of water if you run a trace on the system tier.

Because your tool is functioning as an external process you are having these issues with locks. If you can make the requests using the same session as your pro session you won't have an issue with this, which is difficult to do if you are making rest calls directly.

No, the 'terminal configuration' field on the feature refers to the path between the terminals that will be used when the device is traced, not the terminal configuration assigned to the asset type of the feature. Rules are not affected.
