Why would ESRI do this? This is so much more complicated than it was in ArcMap. I just need simple, decimal degree labels and honestly do not have time to figure out tags, and trying to find any mistake/typo in the tags. Why not have an option for custom format for those who need it, but for those who don't just use the check boxes.

I have a pretty complicated dashboard that displays population, demographic, economic and other data for a community that is dependent upon the year and project. What I ended up doing was putting a second ID column in all of my tables that linked the data to the community, year and project. It's in our database as an incremental data type. You may want to consider something like that, although without seeing your table structure I don't know if it would work or not.

We use different layouts to show different data categories from the same project. In ArcMap, we had to make a new map for each data category to get the different layouts and be able to make edits on each one without affecting the others. I was excited when I saw we could make multiple layouts from the same map because I thought each layout would be independent from the others. What a disappointment to find out that I still have to make multiple maps to have independent layouts! Honestly, why would you bother giving us the functionality of multiple layouts if they aren't independent from each other?

Thank you - that would be great if you could open up action support on elements. We have a work around for the source data download, but if it's going to be available soon that would be great too.

I've got a large dataset of fisheries data going back to the 1980s for the entire state of Alaska. The dashboard I set up for it uses a selector to select the data by district, or I can further filter the district data by fishery year. So I'm using a district selector to filter a district list, and then the district list to filter a list of fishery district ID's and available years (District Year List). The user can view and download the entire district dataset or a specified year in the district dataset. There are three different data tables being used, all of which come from our SQL Server database. Unfortunately in the mobile view, there aren't any actions for lists, which in this case defeats the purpose of the dashboard. Has anybody found a work around to use a list to filter another list? I really don't want to redesign our database to make this work.

We have a dashboard set up that filters a list, which in turn allows an end user to download the filtered data from HUB. The problem we are having is that there has been a malfunction in the filtering functionality of HUB. ESRI is working on it, but it's been a couple of weeks now and I was told by the tech support guy that it could take up to 4 months to get the fix released. This is way too long for our purposes since this is our data dissemination method (as a state agency, we are required by state statute to provide data to the public). Since ESRI has let us down, we are looking into other options. One is build an interface in Shiny (R). Has anybody tried using R in conjunction with an AGOL dashboard?

I was on the phone with ESRI yesterday. It does seem that there are several different issues with filtering and not all of them are resolved.

I thought it was a problem with my network! My filters are timing out and generating an error message. I noticed it 3 weeks ago and have been going crazy trying to fix it!

If you go into dashboards from AGOL, there's a pencil icon on your dashboard card that will open it in edit mode.

I've been having difficulty running the Locate function in the suitability modeler. I finally got rid of the low resolution problem I was having, but today I got the following messages: Based on input, setting resolution of the growth to MAXIMUM. Based on input, setting number of seeds to grow from to SMALL. WARNING 010506: All input cell values are identical. ERROR 010501: Failed to find target number of regions meeting the specified criteria Failed to execute (Locate). I haven't ben able to find anything specific to these errors. Can anybody give me an idea on what's going on here?

I added a new tab to the nine existing tabs in my dashboard. Ideally the new tab needs to be the third tab since the data on it is closely related to that in the second tab. Is there a way to change the tab order? It goes to the end and becomes the 10th tab, and when I'm in the layout window there doesn't seem to be a way to move the tabs around.

I created a survey using Survey123 web designer. I published it so I could send it to my supervisor and the project leader for review. After making some changes to the page labels and question labels, saving my changes and republishing, the survey is malfunctioning. I still am getting a message stating there are unpublished changes. When I moved from the Design page to the Collaborate page, I got a message stating there were unsaved changes. The survey also opens on either page 1 or page 2, and not the survey description page. Is there anything I can do to fix this or do I have to make a new survey (which leads to multiple URLs being circulated)?
