Hi Hikurangi Forest, When I got involved in this thread it was not possible to collect new photos on an Inbox based survey or to take existing photos back out into the field for reference. I found, with the help of others, posts that allow you to set up a repeat with an image question in it that will allow you to collect new photos. As far as I know there is no way to take existing photos back out to the field as part of the Inbox functionality at this time. Collector will allow you to take existing photos out to the field if that is an option. Thanks, Larry

Hi James, This is a very basic dataset at the moment and only has 1 inspection, with 6 attachments and that is how it shows in the data tab in AGOL: But in ArcGIS Desktop 10.5 connected to the GDB exported using the syncSurvey.py I get 1 feature with 12 attachments: As you can see, there is a dup of each attachment... Thanks, Larry

Hi James, @ James Tedrick I am hitting an issue where duplicate attachments are downloaded for a feature that has been edited in AGOL. Tracking is on in the Feature Service and 1 change was made. I used the syncSurvey.py to create and download the data into a File GDB. When I identify a point, I get one feature, but the attachments are duplicated. I assume they are coming from the historical record in the Feature Service. I would expect the tool to download the Feature Service to the fGDB with no historical records and only the latest attachments for the feature since history/archiving is not available in the fGDB. Am I missing something or uncover an issue? Thanks!

Hi James, I bumped up my Timeout to 120 and then 360. Hi Gang, and thank for the tool and great support! I am trying to use the tool to pull down a large feature service (28k features and a repeat for collecting photos with 108k photos) for the first time. I have ArcGIS 10.5.1 and I am using a Batch file to launch the python script, it runs for about 20-30 minutes, then gives me a token error. The last portion of the screen out is below. I added some timers to the batch file for reference… I also added a comment in earlier today further up the chain that I have to have my Arc Catalog running and logged into AGOL for this script got past the initial connection to AGOL, even though my credentials are correct and case sensitive in the config file. -Check 163: ExportAttachments {"replicaName":"","replicaID":"","submissionTime":1535140801527,"lastUpdatedTime":1535140890720,"status":"ExportAttachments","resultUrl":""} -Check 164: ExportAttachments {"replicaName":"","replicaID":"","submissionTime":1535140801527,"lastUpdatedTime":1535140890720,"status":"ExportAttachments","resultUrl":""} -Check 165: ExportAttachments {"replicaName":"","replicaID":"","submissionTime":1535140801527,"lastUpdatedTime":1535140890720,"status":"ExportAttachments","resultUrl":""} -Check 166: ExportAttachments {"error":{"code":498,"message":"Invalid token.","details":["Invalid token."]}} ====================== FAIL: Downloading Survey exception: 'status' ['status'] <type 'exceptions.KeyError'> 553 ---------------------- arcpy messages: ====================== . . Hi Scott, Did you ever get this to work without having Catalog logged into AGOL? I am hitting the same issue right now... Thanks, Larry

Hi Survey123 Creators, I would like to confirm some workflows that I am seeing with regard to surveys already sent, but still on the tablet. I am running the latest version as of today of Connect and the Android app. My survey is inspecting precast concrete foundations where there are 15 pass/fail questions. Each question requires a fail comment and a photo driven from a relevant relationship. I generally have users working disconnected with data going into the Outbox, then sending at night from hotel/home. Sometimes edits are required, and I have observed this behavior: In the Sent box, I can Edit and Resend a survey, but adding additional attachments do net get sent to the server when resending, although they do stay on the tablet. As a work around, I tried opening the resent survey from the sent box in Copy data to a new survey, opens the survey, the tabular data is there, but no attachments are copied over into the new survey. I know handling attachments is tricky, but I think both of these operations should be supported so I hope I am just doing something wrong… Users do come back to surveys, and in some of my past cases, photos were taken with a high zoom external camera, then transferred to the tablet and attached to the survey, but if the survey is sent then the new attachments won’t send. My working instructions for users is not to send until you are sure you are complete, as adding attachments to the survey in the Outbox works fine. A work around for me would be to have a setting on the survey that would allow/disallow editing of the Sent items. I know I can remove the Sent items with another setting, but I have had too many communication issues sending from poor hotel wifi, and have had to salvage from the sqlite database so I like to keep it on the tablets. Thanks, Larry

Thanks Ismael, My issue is getting an IOS version tied to the 2.9. If you have an IPA for the 2.9 version, that would be great, or a whole package of the latest 2.8.x version including IOS IPA, Connect and Windows client… Thanks, Larry

Hi Survey123ers, I would like to download the last 2.8.xWindows version of Survey123 and Survey123 Connect. My ultimate clients are iPad 4s with IOS 10 and I need to work with a defined toolset to satisfy my IT groups rules, so this will be the platform I am on for some time until I can justify new hardware. My iPads update to 2.8.2 through the App store. Thanks, Larry

Hi Gang, I am using a Panasonic FZ-G1 on Win 10 64-bit with the latest Survey123. my survey work well in Portrait mode, but when I collect a picture it defaults to Landscape in the camera window, showing the photo preview rotated which makes it hard to position properly. I tried installing the latest Panasonic Camera utility which handles the tablet rotation just fine, but with it running Survey123 can't seem to access the camera. Is there anyway to override the camera widget in Survey123 to set a widget rotation? Thanks, Larry

Hi All, I also hit this issue on brand new Galaxy Tab A 8" after upgrading to 7.1.1 then installing Collector for the first time and setting various other configuration settings. I factory reset on one unit and it worked, but there is a lot for me to set up again. So I tried the "Reset settings" option and that also worked. Then I reapplied the setting that had been reset and the Collector was broken again. Turns out one of the settings I did was font small to medium is what breaks collector. I changed font size from medium to small and everything worked again... I will respond again if I find anything more in my testing... Larry

Thanks James, got your sample running... Can I private message you my configuration? From your example, I had been using a text field for my structure, so I switched it to a select-one and I added the choices, but still can't get it working. Also a select_one is not an option as I have 3075 structures on this transmission line, not sure if that exceeds some limit. I prepopulate the structure number passing it from collector in my final deployment.
