Thanks for your reply Alix. I tried publishing the web map with the Trace network service in it but the process failed. It passes the Analyze step but then says error - see log. The log file does not record errors, it just stops at the line: StatusMessage: Staging map service. I checked the Portal and Server log files as well and no errors were recorded there either.

I've published a Trace Network, and I can run traces on it when I bring it into Pro. I want to create a field app so crews can run traces in the field. However, when I add the service to a web map, I get an error message in the TOC for the Network layer. No error messages are recorded in the Server or Portal logs. As a follow on, has anybody gotten the trace network service to work with the Trace widget in Experience builder?

@ECarsonDid you get this figured out? I'm trying to use a Trace network in a web app but so far I can't get the feature service added to a web map without an error being shown in the table of contents.

@VanessaSimps, I have this exact same question. I posted it on the community forms if you have an answer. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-questions/does-the-network-trace-widget-support-trace/m-p/1350038#M9400

I've migrated some geometric networks to Trace Networks in Pro 3.1. I've published them as feature services to our portal. I would like to create an app in Experience Builder to allow field crews to run taces in the field. However, when I try to connect the widget with my web map that contains the published trace network, I get an error that the map does not support tracing the Utility Network. Reading the documentation on the widget, it only mentions the Utility network and not the Trace network. Is there support in this widget for trace networks and I have my map misconfigured? Is there an alternative widget I should be using?

Thanks, Jason. I've created a few myself from scratch back in the ArcMap days so I feel your pain with local variation in standards. I was hoping with the standardized fields in the parcel fabric model, somebody took a stab at creating a generalized one I could use as a starting point.

Does ESRI, or anybody else, have any ArcGIS Pro map layouts for producing Assessor map books? Conforming to the California Assessor Handbook standards would be ideal, but I'm interested in anything I can use as a starting point. It would save me a lot of time if somebody had a layout with symbology and map elements already created that I could map to an existing parcel fabric implementation.

Are the feature classes you are trying to delete still part of the fabric as parcel types?

Thanks for the response @EarlMedina. Unfortunately, we do not have a Raster Analysis deployment. We only have an ArcGIS Server Advanced and a relational datastore. So is there no way to replicate the Share Web Image Layer tool in Arcpy? It seems odd since it can be accomplished via Pro. Since we are federated I don't believe I can create or use a publisher arcgis server connection, .ags file.

I'm trying to automate a workflow that we perform in ArcGIS Pro. The workflow is taking some rasters that are stored in a FGDB and sharing them as an image service via Portal and a federated server. Here is the documentation on the manual process that works https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/overview/web-image-layer.htm The manual steps are In Catalog (not in a map) right click on the raster and choose "share as web layer" In the sharing panel choose the option "Copy all Data" Click Publish This results in an image service in Enterprise. However, I cannot seem to script this workflow. I tried using arcpy.CreateImageSDDraft But it seems to create a Server-only version of the .sddraft. I can stage the file using arcpy.StageService but cannot upload the resulting .sd file to Portal. I even tried manually uploading the .sd file to Portal and Portal gave me a warning that it was an ArcGIS Server file. import arcpy
from arcgis.gis import GIS
gis = GIS(url="https://url.to.portal/arcgis", username="userid", password="pass", set_active=True, expiration = 60, verify_cert=False)
service =r'Test_Image'
source = r'C:\Temp\Upload\20230721_AirPollutionPackage.gdb\SD_0721_1030_PM25_IDW'
sddraft = r'C:\Temp\Upload\SD_0721_1030_PM25_IDW.sddraft'
sdfinal = r'C:\Temp\Upload\SD_0721_1030_PM25_IDW.sd'
arcpy.CreateImageSDDraft( raster_or_mosaic_layer= source, out_sddraft=sddraft, service_name=service, server_type= 'ARCGIS_SERVER',
copy_data_to_server= True, folder_name= None, summary= "Test Image Upload",
tags= "las,image service")
try:
arcpy.StageService_server(in_service_definition_draft= sddraft, out_service_definition= sdfinal, staging_version=5)
arcpy.UploadServiceDefinition_server(in_sd_file=sdfinal, in_server="My Hosted Services")
warnings = arcpy.GetMessages(1)
print(warnings)
except Exception as ecp:

I just ran into the same issue on a single-machine enterprise deployment. ESRI technical support recommended Portal => Datastore => Server. Doing this manually fixes datastore access if I wait for Portal to fully start before starting datastore. In the Services settings, Tech support also suggested automatical service start for Portal and Datastore and then delayed restart for Server. We currently have Datastore on delayed restart. I'm going to test changing this to automatic. If this doesn't work, then we will go down the script route.

@BaileyBellavanceThe document seems to have been moved to the "Customer Documents" section. Try this link. I think you need to be logged in with an AGOL account. https://trust.arcgis.com/en/customer-documents/ArcGIS_Enterprise_AV_Guidance.pdf

For some reason when we move a Fabric point, it no longer drags connected line and polygon features with it. In the past, I know we have been able to drag a fabric point a few feet to make it align better with surrounding features and connected parcel types would move with it. This is no longer happening. The point will move but the connected lines and polygons will stay where they were. Rebuilding the fabric will create a new point back at the original location. As a sanity check, I exported the data to a new fabric in a local FGDB and tried dragging the point again. This time it worked, connected lines were dragged with the fabric point.
