I've encountered the same phenomenon and as in your case, it was connected to the user - If I loged-in to the computer with an administrator user, there was no problem. Please publish the solution from tech support for the good of all. Good luck, Yovav Z.

Hi Jeremy, I've tried it on several computers (at least 1 as fresh install), and also in new and old Projects and Global Scenes. All of the above displayed the same behavior - I managed to mark the check-boxes, but after approving the scene properties (Clicking OK button), Illumination parameters were not saved or had been reset automatically. Regards, Yovav Z.

Hi Rachel, As far as I know, There's no easy way to do that currently. In future, ESRI will issue thematic stylx files, that will probably include road signs and you will be able to choose from them as a Point Background for the road Number label. In the meanwhile, you could try one of the following workarounds that might work (or combining them): Import an ArcMap Document or use lyr file in which there's a preset label for the layer. Define a point symbol in the Project's Favorites Style for a point layer that symbolize your road sign background (Create new style item). After that you would be able to use it as your labels background (based on point symbol callout). Import the symbol from an ArcMap style file (from the "Style" group in the Insert Tab on the ribbon) good luck, Yovav Z.

Hi, Unfortunately, I don't understand your language (the error messages), but I would check that your system qualifies the Pro System requirements. Especially regarding the Microsoft Internet Explorer (Ver. 8-11). Alternatively, you can run the ArcGIS pro system requirements tool. If you couldn't solve the issue, try contacting ESRI Technical support. Good Luck, Yovav Z.

Hi Leo, Take a look at the last message in this discussion. It's probably connected to taking the license offline without Administrator privileges. The solution is described in the above mentioned discussion and involves resetting your Pro license through ESRI Technical support. Regards, Yovav Z.

Hi Tom, Naturally there's a confusion between ArcGIS for Desktop products family (hence "Classic" apps such as ArcMap and the new family member - ArcGIS Pro), to their Licensing method. ArcGIS Pro is a Desktop app, but it's licensing is not software based (like "classic" Desktop apps - Single-use/Concurrent which can be permanent), but User identity based. The Pro license is aquired by signing in to the organizational Portal (ArcGIS Online in your case) and not by a license server. Further more, the Pro license is entitled by your Desktop Licenses under active maintenance agreement (usually renewed every year), so it has an expiration date driven by the maintenance agreement. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you got read of the expiration messages. Regards, Yovav Z.

Did anyone succeeded to activate the "Show atmospheric effects" or "Display shadows in 3D" parameters in a Global Scene? After configuring the Scene properties and clicking OK button, nothing happens and reopening the Scene properties, shows that none of the definitions were saved. I've tried it on several computers and several geographic locations without any change. Thanks in advance, Yovav Z.

Hi Tom, Since Pro licensing is based on your ArcGIS For Desktop licenses within maintenance agreement, I would check the maintenance agreement expiration date of your Desktop Licenses. Regards, Yovav Z.

Hi Andrew, Did you get any support for this issue? One of my colleges has encountered the same behavior in ArcGIS Pro Prerelease Update 2. Did you have to tweak a registry value, or it was only ESRI support side act (Reset of your organizational license)?

Hi Mostafa, You can modify One of your MXDs to fit your general Layout demands and then use the "Change Layout" command to apply it to all the other MXDs. There are 2 ways which might help you with automation of the process with different approaches: 1. Using Python code 2. Using Data Driven Pages (One MXD for all the maps). You can also combine these 2 methods. Good Luck

Hi, Try using the Table to Table tool and check the "Transfer field domain descriptions" in it's environments settings This should do the trick. If I'm not mistaken, there was a bug in this parameter in earlier versions, but in current version it would work.

Hi Inna, Shapefile does not hold Field Domains - this is possible only in Geodatabase, so it's not very clear what you're trying to do. Anyway, a good workaround would be to create a table of the Domain values and description and then join it to the Feature Class and then export it. The Field Domain Descriptions in the Geoprocessing > Environments settings is working in some tools. You can check the Tool help under the Environment paragraph if this parameter is supported. For example, the Table to Table tool. Good luck
