While it isn't exactly a List by Definition Query view, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the Active Definition Query filter in the Contents pane: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/map-authoring/contents-pane.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_3B17AEC2C1A244CDA79ABD88A4148691 Applying that filter will show you layers that currently have an active definition query. You could then highlight those layers and clear all the active definition queries from the Data tab > Definition Query group.   ... View more

@RobertAkroyd1 for reference when submitting a new enhancement request, the following already exists [ENH-000132348: ArcGIS Pro does not recognize Windows System variables when configuring default New Project Custom Location Path] That was written specifically against the custom location path, whereas you are interested in making this possible for StagingPath. In terms of the question above around "under consideration", that just means that we have an item in the backlog related to the idea, but it does not necessarily mean that it will move forward to being implemented. Hi @RichardHowe In Michele's original use case she indicated that she was changing .gdb names in File Explorer. This is what would lead to the .aprx not having a default .gdb and thus automatically creating a new one. Out of curiosity, how is it that you have hundreds of .aprx files with no default .gdb? Is the real ask that you would like to be able to create projects with no default .gdb at all? ... View more
