Thanks for submitting the idea, Brendan. I can see the attached image, but curious as to the use case for stretching multiple features in only the x or only the y direction. Depending on the use case, one way to quickly generate and modify a series of parallel rectangles like this would be to set a single line oriented in the desired direction. Use Copy Parallel Copy line features parallel—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop to quickly create the desired number of parallel lines (number of rows that you want for your rectangles), and then use Generate Rectangles Along Lines Generate Rectangles Along Lines—Data Management toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop . Again, depending on the use case, this may not work, but might offer a quick way to generate the desired grid of rectangles and from there you can selectively delete features as needed. First example: If I want to stretch the rectangles to 2000 feet instead of 1000 feet: Or decide that I want them wider, adjust my copy parallel distance and go again, Maybe this is crazy. Maybe this is helpful. Hoping it's the latter:)

How are you sharing the layer? By right-clicking the layer in the Contents Pane, or from the Share ribbon?

This functionality didn't make it into Pro 2.3 which will be out in January 2019. So hopefully in the release after that.

Hi Kate, I reviewed the idea that you posted. Allow sorting on any field in Table Frames It's a totally valid idea. While I was playing with this, though, I thought I might offer a quick workaround. Could you just place the column used for sorting outside of the page? So you would see this in Pro: And when you export it, you end up with: Just a thought so that you don't have to run the Sort gp tool etc. etc.

You could maintain 1 feature class, and then have a separate table storing the attribute and update time info. This piece of doc provides a good example Examples of queries with the Make Query Table tool—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

Hi Nick, a couple of options, different levels of investment. Set up a custom display expression on the layer that you're scanning which could be useful depending on how you work. This way you can move through the table very quickly (like below, through tens of thousands of records) but still pause and see a nicely formatted view. But since that doesn't sound like what you're looking for, you have the option to use the arrow key and see all the records as they scroll by.

Looks like there are many others who always wanted it to work like it now does in Pro: https://community.esri.com/ideas/2438 But I definitely see what you're saying about the word "Paused" Here is a great example. Notice that we do show that the Map tab is Paused and the Pause button is toggled on. But it sounds like you didn't notice those so we could do a better job making it clear that the drawing is paused.

Thank you for sharing this, Nick. We've been pursuing this with the layout team and your findings are helpful. We're investigating performance issues related to updating renderers where the symbology is being changed in multiple legends.

Michael, are you able to share the table with 28000 records and 4000 related records so that I can set it up here and look at performance?

Thanks for the clarification, Blair. Could you please update the Idea's title and description to make the requirement clear? "My use case is that I want to be able to style the data, etc in Pro but I need to access 3rd party vector tile servers outside of AGOL or Portal." Thank you. I'm sure you've already seen this, but maybe for others who stumble upon this thread: Design custom basemaps with the new ArcGIS Vector Tile Style Editor

Hi Dianne, You've likely made edits to features either in a map or scene. So click on the map tab, and you should see an Edit tab become available on the ribbon. In the edit tab, Save and Discard should be enabled if you have outstanding edits. Mine are grayed out as I don't have any pending edits. I hope this helps.

At this point this seems more like a question for the ArcGIS Online rather than an idea. Are you making any changes to the pop-up configuration when the hosted feature service is in Pro? I can say that the order of the fields you see in your attribute table in Pro may be different than the order of the fields in the database itself (or the order they're stored in the hosted feature service). And neither of these necessarily has anything to do with what you see in the pop-up as it is possible to configure what displays in the pop-up entirely separately from what is stored in the database, and how the table is set up for the layer. For example, go to Fields View in Pro and you can toggle between Data Source and the layer: I can't change the order or visibility of fields that are in the data source. They are there. But on the layer, I can change visibility and order. That is what would be seen in the attribute table. I could then further refine the pop-up to show even fewer fields, in a different order, or no fields at all. As for what the expectation is, probably better a question in the ArcGIS Online space.
