I think this is a meter made by SBS that measures consumption. If so, then this is a type of instrument transformer. Technically a PT and CT combined to measure current. In the Medium Voltage Line Monitoring Asset Group, there is an Asset Type called Instrument Transformer. This was equipment types of CT, PT, CT & PT. That is probably where this would go without modifying the model.

Hi Danielle I think this is a different scenario that may be related to renaming things. Can you email directly at jalsup@esri.com. Can you include the workflow you used?

If you had a map open or a map containing a reference to the target UN, you will encounter this error. I would suggest trying again, but using a Pro Project that does not have a map in it.

Hi Bryan The Electric Foundations are really just a starting point. There is risk in adding too many attributes to any single class. It could impact performance and other areas of the system if too many attributes are added. With that said, we included the attributes most popular with various analysis packages, like CYME, OpenDSS, Siemans, Schenieder, etc. We tried to limit to fields that are unique to the specific equipment. Things like fuse curves are typically specific to a model and could be obtained from reference tables.

In version 2.0 and the current version 2.2, we added Car Charger as an asset type to the Low Voltage Service Group in the Device class. We also duplicated this in the Junction Object class as well. The reason we also have it in Low Voltage Generation is that there are those how view Car Batteries as a source of power as well as a consumer.

It's possible that these junctions are not actually snapped to the lines. You can check this by first looking at the "Is Connected" attribute. Next, you can select one of the junctions at these intersecting lines with the error and move the line, leaving the "Disconnect" option disabled when performing the move. If the ends of the lines both move with the junction, then they are connected. If not, then they are not actually snapped to the line.

HI Todd. I just checked in the solutions site and the domain Electric_High_Voltage_Transformer_VA does not appear to have any duplicates in the released model. Is it possible someone else modified our Asset Package. If not, can you tell me where you got this Asset Package, I would like to track down where this duplicate got introduced.

Hi Tobey. The rows (renames) in the D_RENAME table are only applied during apply asset package to the target utility network. Also, the object cannot current exist in the target utility network. The name in the asset package renames the same. If you really want the name changed in an asset package (may be for data loading) then you can export the utility network you created to a new asset package. However, I would not recommend using the apply asset package to load data.

Hi Todd. If this is an execution of apply asset package with no data, then we will need to know what version of Pro and Enterprise you are using. Also, can you provide this asset package to me?

if you are in the asset package, it is best to use the D_Rename options as opposed to manually renaming anything. Using D_Rename, you can change the name in one place, manually renaming objects may require changing hundreds of records in the asset package definitions.

You will have to do a data migration as the utility network has a more fixed schema. Also, attributes may be need to be stored differently depending on their use, like as network attributes. I would suggest evaluating the Esri Communications Foundation and data model as a first step. https://arcg.is/9Ljv8
