Hector, Looks like you've found a bug. When we (graphics engine) export we get all the properties of a mapframe from the mapframe. IF that object is not properly updated after closing the activation, then this update won't be shown in the PDF export. Seems like that's what going on here. I'll see if I can repro and pass it along to the layoutians so they can create a salesforce number. Regards, Jeremy W.

FYI switching from DirectX to OpenGL helps in situations where even the latest driver may have some bugs in one API or the other. That's why we included it as a troubleshooting option (to be able to switch between APIs). Unfortunately if the crash occurs in the GPU driver itself, many times we can't get proper error reports on it. EVERYONE: Make sure when you get crashes that produce error reports you're sending them in - we evaluate these at each release and they allow us to fix lots of issues.

Forgot one troubleshooting step: clear your cache. You can do this from PROJECT->Display Options (check the box for removing the cache at bottom). To contact support, see this page: Esri Support Contact Tech Support

Hector, Did this machine previously work OK with Pro 1.2? Or is this a new install? 1) update your graphics card driver to latest from manufacturer (e.g nvidia/amd) 2) If you get an error report dialog, fill in your email 3) please contact technical support for interactive assistance. Regards, Jeremy W.

Unfortunately right now there's no indication that the LASD is broken in the UI. Most likely the behavior your see above is due to a broken data source for your LAS files. Follow the tutorial below to recreate the LASD in Pro, and see if that resolves your problem.

Sarah, If you have a map which has this problem (e.g. exports at same dpi to PDF in ArcMap are significantly smaller than exports to PDF from Pro 1.3) please package it up (File->Share As-> Map Package) and send it in to technical support so we can get a developer's eyes on the issue. As to your question - it is something we have considered and discussed at length on the dev team for a future release. Pro (and ArcMap actually) attempt to create "rich" PDFs - they have layers, geospatial info, etc. If you want a really small PDF, one workaround is to use Adobe Acrobat's "optimize pdf" option - which strips out all the rich info and creates a small, "just for viewing/printing" PDF. Regards, Jeremy W.

Bob, The organization is where your clients connecting to named users (such as the viewers in ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro, if connected to your ArcGIS Online organization) get their list of basemaps. This is how the basemaps are populated in clients. Help topic: Configure map viewer—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS In Pro, you can also just search in portal->All (in the project pane) for "bing" to find the basemaps and add them, if already licensed. If you need more help, I'd suggest contacting Esri technical support. Regards, Jeremy W.
