Are you using the proxy code from here? https://github.com/Esri/resource-proxy Yes I am. I have declared my referrer in <ProxyConfig> and also added my <serverUrl> to the server I wish to access. One thing I should note is having used the debugger in IE 10, I see that every time I do a queryRelatedRecords I get back a 304 result which means something along the lines of no content has changed. Is there a way I can add some sort of cacheBuster parameter when doing queryRelatedRecords? Thank you for your help, Alex

I have done that a few times now with no success. It is almost like my proxy page is caching the initial result and returning that one continuously until I close the browser. Does anyone have any experience turning the caching off in the proxy page and / or the aspx page? I have tried PRAGMA tags, cache-control tags as well as including the output cache rule in the proxy site itself. I'd like to compare my approach(es) vs other who may have had the same issue. Thank you, Alex

I am running a JS application using Server 10.1. I have a couple of services that are secured with a user name and password. I have established a proxy that accesses these services. My web application is able to add a polygon to a feature class, and then a user is able to, using a template picker, add related points to the initial polygon. Feature Class: Farm (polygon) Feature Class: Animals (point) So I am adding animals to a farm. Using IE 9, Firefox, and Chrome, after I add an animal I execute queryRelatedRecords on my Farm feature class and my query returns all my related animals, including the one I just added. However when I use IE 10 or IE 11, I am able to add the animal to the farm but when I execute queryRelatedRecords, I get the initial animal list that I saw when I first opened the map. Again, the animal is added, but if my farm had 2 animals before I added a 3rd, I get 2 animals via the queryRelatedRecords until I close my browser and open it up again. Has anyone come across anything similar and have an idea how to fix this? Thank you, Alex

Turns out I had my services running on http://abc.xyz.com and I was accessing them from http://def.hij.com. I installed the proxy and was trying to figure out why it wasn't working. It turns out the proxy was located on http://abc.xyz.com and NOT on http://def.hij.com. This obviously is an issue because my hij.com is trying to access a resource located on xyz.com which is a cross origin violation. I moved the proxy to def.hij.com and the problem was solved. The curious part was that the GET requests all came through but my POST actions were being checked (and denied) by the browser. Anyways, hope this helps someone. Alex

Hello, I have established my proxy and have everything running through it on my JS site. Everything seems to be fine in IE but Firefox and Chrome disagree. I am unable to do anything in the map if I am using FF or Chrome. Having gone into dev tools, I see that I get an error "Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at <proxy location>.ashx?<web service url> This can be fixed by moving the resource to the same domain or enabling CORS." My question is, how do you enable CORS? I have added the clause as per here into my .ashx (proxy) web.config but still no luck. Anything else I am missing? Thank you,

Thank you for your response Noah. Yes, I am still getting the same error even though I have implemented the proxy page. When I am doing is: 1. Creating a new feature layer (myFeatureLayer) with a URL to a Feature Service 2. Creating a new graphic (myNewGraphic) with some attributes 3. Calling myFeatureLayer.applyEdits([myNewGraphic], null, null, function(adds,edits,deletes){...}); When running on our dev site, step 3, in all browsers EXCEPT IE 9 work and I am able to add the graphic. However IE 9, it says "Error: Access is Denied." On localhost in IE 9 however, it prompts me with the "This page is accessing information that is not under its control This poses a security rist. Do you want to continue?" Do I need to add the secured resources using http or https? Thank you, Alex

Hello, I am trying to use the applyEdits function on a feature layer in IE 9. In all other versions of the browsers (IE10+, Firefox, Chrome, etc.), it works well and I have no issues. In IE 9 however I get an Access is Denied error. Has anyone come across this and have an idea how to solve it? EDIT: I have added a proxy and am able to access my information via proxy. Verified this by removing the token param I had in my URL and using Firebug to verify that indeed the call is being made via proxy. But the issue of "Error: Access is Denied" is still there if I try to call applyEdits on a feature layer. Thank you,

Thank you Noah for your response. The proxy is not the issue because I already have one in place and I am able to use the attachment editor with no issues on Safari and Firefox. I will be trying this on a different version of the IE browser later today and hope that I get something useful from it. In the mean time, do you have any other ideas as to why IE 9 in particular would have a hard time with the attachment editor? Thank you,

Hello, I have a dijit content pane inside of which I set the content to be a div. Into this div I create a new attachment editor. I then create a feature layer and add an onload event in which I call queryFeatures after the layer has been loaded. My question is as follows. Does attachment editor not work properly in IE9? The issue is that after I select a file in IE9, it does not do a "postback" and the page never "postbacks" to display that the file has been uploaded. Instead it just sits there and nothing happens although the file does indeed get uploaded. If I run the same code in Safari and Firefox everything works as intended. I select the file, it gets uploaded, and the control is refreshed to display the recently updated file. Has anyone experienced any problems related to this? Thank you,

Thank you for your response Derek. I've looked into the ideas you provided but because I do indeed have a very large polygon being drawn, none of them worked. For this purpose, I was able to re-work my DB to simplify the shapes a little and it seems to be working. Good thing to keep in mind though. Thanks, Alex

Having analyzed the issue, I tend to agree. I've done an envelope around the complex geometry (A LOT of point) to simplify the geometry (to reduce the point count) and it's working well. Any other ideas on the issue?

I am working with retrieving very large geometries from a FeatureLayer via query. I have it now retrieving one large geometry at a time by applying a WHERE clause on the query. Everything is working well in IE11, Firefox, and Chrome but when I run the software in IE9, it takes a VERY long time, the browser becomes unresponsive and most often just freezes and crashes the browser. Does anyone have an idea how I can resolve the issue? Any help appreciated. Thank you.

I resolved the problem by creating a QueryLayer and retrieving the data that way.

Hi There, I have a Feature Class, FC1, and a Table, TBL1, related via a Relationship, RLT1. RLT1 has 2 foreign keys (FC1_FK, and TBL_FK) and 2 attributes (ATR1, ATR2). In C# I am trying to query related information to FC1 via RLT1. I am getting all the attribute information from TBL1 but I am not getting ATR1 and ATR2 from the relationship. Is there any way I can query these attributes from the relationship table? I am using the RelationshipParameter class and specify the ObjectIds, RelationshipId, and the OutFields. The outfields I specify as *. Again, I am able to get the related information but am missing the information about the relation stored in the actual relationship table. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you,
