Hello, I have an ArcSDE 9.3.1 installation. I need to recreate spatial view. After I issued sdetable - o delete I'm getting error message that the view "is registered in another instance". Afterward sdetable -o create reports success but the view is not created - I can't see it in ArcCatalog. Did this after restart of ArcSDE service, and check that there's no connections. There are 2 instances: SDE and the other. It seems I need to unregister the views before delete. Will sdetable -o unregister unregister view from all instances? Thanks!   ... View more

Hello, I am running R Geoprocessing service using ArcGIS R Bridge. For some reason, after 70 seconds the process fails with "Aborted by user" message. It is in R, since process on small sample, demanding less than 70 seconds, works OK. Thanks for your help! ... View more

Hello, I have an R script with is employed by ArcGIS-R bridge. I installed the bridge on Pro and on a server and published the service with Pro. The script runs OK in Pro, but fails on server. The message is "Aborted by user". I have a log in R so I know that the script starts to run on the server but then fails. Due to the log, it fails every time at another part of the script so it's not a specific R bug. What can be a problem? Thanks! ... View more

Hello, I was asked is following is possible: ArcSDE 9.3.1 Oracle 11g A business user holds business tables, sde user holds gdb tables. The client wants to define an additional read-only user which will be capable to query business user's layers but unable to edit. From what I've learned read-only is pretty cumbersome in GDB since every user has to update his own log tables. Is this possible at all? Thanks! ... View more

Hello, Is it OK to backup ArcGIS Enterprise with VM snapshot? My plan was to shut down Enterprise services and backup with VM snapshot. However, my system is not sure that postgres which serves the portal will be restored well. I am aware of WebGIS DR tool but taking a VM snapshot seems to be a shorter way. Hello, For some weeks I experience the problem of gradual ArcGIS Enterprise performance degradation. After a restart it's OK but the performance then degrades gradually and I have to restart frequently.
