Hello, Here the condition: ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, Editor - all 10.3. Web App Builder 1.1. All are on the same box. I open an mxd and add some imagery files (SID files, about 50). I publish mxd as a service, registering data source, fixing analyse problems etc. The service works - I can display it in ArcMap, Portal and add to a WebMap. But then, in a WAB app, the printing widget got stuck when I try to print this WebMap. Browser debug doesn't reveal anything except print service timeout. The imagery files are located in a folder with "everyone read/write permission". Otherwise printing works OK. If I open an mxd, add raster catalog from gdb and publish as a service - the widget will print. The problem is only when mxd is made from imagery files. Thanks in advance!

As Michael Volz presumed, the problem was with Display and Symbology tabs of the Layer Properties. However, actually resetting to default values fixed the problem.

Hello, Our client runs AGS and custom SilverLight API application. The application utilise ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer class. Recently we upgraded from 10.1 to 10.3, recreated services, etc. The problem is that after upgrade to 10.3, orthofotos (only) are displayed much darker than before. Are there some changes in behaviour of ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer? Thanks! Michael

Hello, We have ArcSDE 9.3 on Oracle 10g Windows 2003 32 bit box. The same SDE is used by AGS 10 installation on Windows 2008 64 bit box. Adding new services to AGS caused Maximum connections exceeded SDE error (we need 68 connections instead of default 48). I increased maximum connections number by sdeconfig but then (as it was predicted by some posts) I ran into Oracle problems, ORA-12640 (Authentication adapter initialisation failed). Our DBA checked the DB and said that Oracle problems are caused by SDE overload. Indeed, after restarting the SDE service everything works for some time. Trying to reduce overload, I switched AGS services to Direct Connect. I still see connections in sdemon since as Jake Skinner explained in his answer below, sdemon counts direct connections also. The question is: should I expect reduce in SDE overload because of switching to Direct Connect. As I know, with Direct Connect spatial procedures are made at the client (in my case - AGS box which is more powerful). P.S. ArcSDE 9.3 is used for compatibility with another older GIS reasons. Hello, We have an SDE 9.3. Why when I open a Direct Connect, SDEMON command shows me that ArcSDE connections count is growing? To my understanding, in Direct Connect the connection is made directly to the DBMS and SDEMON should be unaware of this connection. E.g. when I connect with Direct Connect, SDEMON should show 0 connections. Am I right? Thanks for the answers, Michael

Hello, I added a CSV file with coordinates in non-WGS CS to a web map. The web map uses AGS service with the same CS as the CSV, coordinates in the CSV are inside extent of the map. The Portal has added the CSV as a layer. When I opened the table of the layer and tried to zoom to a record, the result was scale bar showing NAN NAN NAN and no map was displayed. Is portal able to add non-WGS CSV? Thanks!

Hello, I have to install Web Builder Dev. Edition on the server w/o Internet access. Web Builder fails to start since there's no access to arcgis.com There's an option of installing JScript API locally. Can Web Builder Dev. Edition be configured to work with local JScript API? How? Thanks!

IMO all HTTPS calls use the same certificate. It is configured at IIS. Here's ESRI instructions for configuring HTTPS. ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) What type of SSL mismatch error do you have?
