Hello @KGpdx It's not possible to disable the Create Assignment button. We don't have this in our backlog at this time, if this is something that you feel we should look at, consider creating an Idea for it so others can also include their use cases. Craig

@CrazyGIS @JakeMatthys Great question - this has always been a tricky area for us on the Workforce team - we've discussed various scenarios but they all have similar pitfalls to what Jake mentioned. We do see an area to improve this; once Workforce moves into Field Maps but unfortunately, that will only be for creating/updating features within Field Maps. When calling out to other apps - Workforce no longer has the context to know what is happening in that other app. Once we start looking at this when Workforce is in Field Maps, that will help us to understand how we could address this other apps; such as Survey123. Until then, setting up a QA/QC process as Jake has outlined is the way to address this.

Hello @mackenzie_firstname Unfortunately, we don't have any plans to change this behavior in Workforce or as part of the effort to add the Workforce capability to Field Maps. We now require the assignment to be Started before any changes are made due to how the changes are sync'd with the feature service in the Organization. If we allowed the Notes to be added prior to Start; it would result in edits being overwritten. Are you open to a call to discuss your workflow with Workforce to dig into this a bit further? thanks, Craig

In the Fall release of Workforce (scheduled for Sept 21st) we will be increasing the max number of feature results and removing the 12 feature limit. We will still honor the maxRecordCount limit in the underlying feature service. This applies for all Feature related searches; whether in the Search textbox, Lasso or Rectangle tools. There will also not be a limit on the assignments you can create for the Search results; if 200 features are returned, you can create 200 assignments.

Hello, This is a bug in the Android version of Workforce and one that we're addressing in our next release that is tentatively scheduled for next week. Workforce does not manage an archive of assignments; deleting them will remove the assignments. You would need to copy them before deleting them. Craig

Hi Jay, Ok, thanks this helps to clarify. Next time this happens - see if you can capture the network traffic from the browser where Workforce is being opened and the error is appearing. If using Edge: click the ... in the upper right of Edge More tools -> Developer tools Select the Network tab Once you've reproduced the error, right click on the traffic an Save as HAR with Content. That HAR file is what we need.

Jay, Outside what Aaron suggested that's an issue with creating the replica? No. Your comment below about seeing this on Windows 10 is throwing me off - are you seeing this in the web app on Windows? If you're using a mobile app - which one are you using? There is no app for ArcGIS Workforce on Windows. There was a beta release of Workforce for ArcGIS on Windows but it's no longer maintained nor supported. Craig

Jay, couple questions in addition to Aaron's suggestions. are you using iOS or Android? If Android, there is Troubleshooting logging that you can use - that hasn't been added to Workforce iOS yet. When this happens - you could also try using Field Maps to create an ad hoc offline area to see if you can repro the issue there. Outside of that - using a proxy as Aaron noted is what we'd recommend and what Support would also ask for.
