@Rich sounds like you should be able to remove the Templates; you own the layer. Can you check if you can add a new Form Element on the Forms tab? That might help narrow it down. Another question - are you trying to delete the last Template in your layer? Craig

Hi @RobertBorchert thanks for clarifying how you're determining the map has reverted to Classic. The issue and bug isn't with Field Maps or forms or form authoring. The bug is in the Map Viewer and its check in how it determines whether to display the message or not. So, while the message is indicating the map is authored from Map Viewer Classic, the map is not. The workaround for this is to check the checkbox at the bottom of the dialog. You will not see that message, as I mentioned before, this is a per browser setting, so if you use a different browser, you have to check the message again. I do apologize for the issues you're having. You can escalate these bugs to Tech Support or your Account Manager, that includes the issue with Dashboard that you noted, as request a Hot Fix be considered. Craig

@RobertBorchert I apologize if my reply caused any angst or came across in a less than helpful way. I am trying to help you through this issue. You are encountering a bug in the Map Viewer. The logic it uses to determine whether the web map was authored in Map Viewer Classic is wrong and is the root cause of the issue. This is a bug and one that will be addressed in a future release of Enterprise. Until then, there's two paths forward for you. Request a Hot Fix for this issue through Tech Support or your Account Manager Check the "Don't show this message again" checkbox You mention in the last post that "However, after saving a change to Configure it had reverted again to a Classic Map." how are you determining the map is a "Classic Map"? thanks,

@RobertBorchert @RichG It seems like there are two questions being asked here. @RobertBorchert "In regards to So when you see the dialog, you should just click "Save this map". It does it repeatedly when I save it, alter the configuration, and it again says it is a Classic Map." There should be a check box in the dialog with the text "Do not show me this again" - if you check that, the dialog shouldn't appear again. This information is stored per browser; so it could be a browser change or removal of local storage cleared that setting, which may explain why you weren't see it last week and now are. If you check the checkbox, the dialog will not appear again. As @Anonymous User mentioned, the Map Viewer team has updated the logic to correct the dialog from incorrectly appear. Due to the release schedule for Enterprise, that change won't be available until the Enterprise release after the upcoming 11 release. @RichG I'll need some more information to help reproduce what you're seeing. Are you using Online or Enterprise? If Enterprise, what release? Do you have the same map open in Map Viewer and in Field Maps at the same time? Hello @NilsOdgren The Search in Workforce does operate differently than the Map Viewer in ArcGIS Online. In Workforce, you need to hit Enter/Return to initiate the Search.
