Hi Colin, Specifying the size is not possible at this time. For the component being able to take a direct reference to an icon or image, could you submit an ArcGIS Idea or Enhancement request through support? This will help us track it better! Thanks, Anne

Thanks @AndrewVitale for bringing this issue to our attention! We've just installed a fix for this bug in the 4.31 version of map components. You can test it out by using the /next development version of the CDN. Here's an updated version of your example using the /next release: https://codepen.io/annefitz/pen/NWZYMRW?editors=1000

The "click" event is not available in the expand widget. Instead, I would recommend watching the "expanded" property, as shown in the code snippet below. expandbutton.watch("expanded", (value)=>{
console.log(`expanded: ${value}`);
})

Hi @asdfasdf45254 - sorry you are running into this issue! I have a few questions: Do you still see the issue in the latest version of the API, 4.30? If so, can you share the CIMSymbol JSON that you are using along with the polygon geometry? Thanks!

Hi - you can watch the expanded property on the Expand widget to know whether it is expanded/collapsed and then update the visibility of your layerToggle. Here's an example: https://codepen.io/annefitz/pen/gONmeMR?editors=100 bgExpand.watch("expanded", () => {
document.getElementById("layerToggle").style.display = bgExpand.expanded ? "none" : "block";
})

Hi @yockee - check out this sample Select features by rectangle. It allows you to draw a polygon on the map, and then query for features that intersect that polygon by setting the query's geometry property. Once you get the resulting featureSet from the query, you can open the popup like so: view.openPopup({
location: point, // point geometry for where you want the popup to open
features: queryResults.features // features returned from the query
});

Hi @EugeneStaten - yes this is possible starting at version 4.25! You can set a specific cluster symbol for your clusters, and your individual features will render with their original renderer. Here's an example, where the triangles represent individual features: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/featurereduction-cluster-symbol/

Hi @JimCunningham3 - I'm sorry you're running into this issue! It looks like you're doing some custom styling on your Expand widgets, could you share a repro case via codepen or HTML file so we can look into this further?

Hi @DavidShearan - sounds like this might be a good use case for binning. Binning is a method of aggregating points by grouping them into predefined bins (kinda like a grid). Here's an example: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/featurereduction-binning/ If you would still like to display a grid, I would recommend either adding a feature layer that represents a grid (example) or creating your own grid from Graphics. The JavaScript SDK doesn't support adding a grid out of the box just yet, but it is something we are working on for a future release.

You could try: .esri-basemap-gallery__item {
border: none;
} All the CSS for the BasemapGallery is publicly available here if you need to make any other tweaks: https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-js-api/blob/4master/assets/esri/themes/base/widgets/_BasemapGallery.scss

Hi Michael, if you set a max-width of 300px on the BasemapGallery's container then it should stay in the list view. Here's an example: https://codepen.io/annefitz/pen/rNbRZPP?editors=1000 The BasemapLayerList widget is different - it does not allow you to switch basemap styles but instead displays the layers within your current basemap and allows you to toggle their visibility, similar to the LayerList widget. Hope this helps!
