Hi Jacqueline, Sorry that you have run into this issue! Code 10018 looks to be a different issue than the domain issue reported above. Can you please log a technical support case so that one of our analysts can document the problem and we can work on a resolution? Thanks! Jeff

Hi Konrad, The Workforce web app will execute the feature search you set up in the web map, however it does not provide you with any search suggestions nor does it provide the drop down that lets you determine what layer to search against (like you see in the Map Viewer app). This is being considered for a future release of Workforce. Thanks for asking the question and for your feedback! Jeff

Christopher, There are 2 main approaches taken: 1. As David mentions above, your IT group can expose the Portal outside of your firewall. Here is a documentation topic that you can point them to: Configure your portal to use a reverse proxy server—Portal for ArcGIS (10.7 and 10.7.1) | ArcGIS Enterprise 2. If your organization uses an MDM or would consider deploying Collector through an MDM (there are several options), then you can utilize per-app VPN. This is essentially providing a solution where Collector will automatically VPN into your network using a cellular or wifi connection and access the portal. Good luck and as Derek points out, please have them give the Secure Mobile Patterns whitepaper a read. Thanks Jeff

We released an update to Tracker that includes support for ArcGIS Online this past week. For details, please read this blog posting: What’s New in Tracker for ArcGIS (December 2019) At this point in time, we do not have plans to build Tracker for Windows 10. Are the mission surveys being completed with an Esri field app? Thanks, Jeff

Tracker is a premium app meaning that there is a cost per user. The premium app licensing can be applied to any user type (including a Viewer). There are no additional costs for the organization. Tracker uses a new data store and we do NOT charge for feature storage credits either.

In addition to Matt's reply, we are adding a couple of new features into the next release of Collector (iOS) that I think will help in satisfying your need: 1. Recent Values - we will remember values you enter into text and numeric fields and when you tap to enter a value you can then choose from recent values you entered previously. 2. Updating attribute values for multiple features - you will be able to tap on several features and then update a common attribute for all of them at once. We should be releasing this update early in January and we can get you beta testing if you like. Thanks Jeff

Hi Hamish, With the current release of Collector for ArcGIS (v19.1.0) we support offline editing and sync with the Default version just as ArcGIS Pro does today. This can be quite useful for field data collection workflows where you are capturing new information directly into your enterprise geodatabase. Currently planned for ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 is support for offline editing and sync with a branch that you have published. This will then bring forward the maintenance workflows where you want to institute a QA/QC process and perhaps manage potential issues where multiple field workers edit the same features. Thanks!

Hi James, Yes this request has been addressed with the new Collector app that is currently release on the iOS platform and is in beta for Android. Within ArcGIS Online, map authors can create map areas. You can then download one or more map areas to your device. For more information about map areas, please read this documentation: Take web maps offline—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS For more information about using offline areas within Collector: Prepare for offline data collection—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Jeff

Hey John, We are sorting out the details of this now so what I am about to say is subject to change before we release... At present, we do not have any plan to charge credits for storage of location tracks. With the ArcGIS Enterprise store, there is a concept of a retention period for track data. You can set it to keep tracks indefinitely or you can set a date and then we will truncate tracks accordingly (say 30 or 60 days). This same concept will apply within ArcGIS Online except right now we are thinking that it would be a fixed time and not indefinite as there are transactional/query and storage costs to maintaining tracks. If you want, you would be able to export the tracks from the data store to archive them yourself. With the beta program we are looking for feedback on the business model as well as the technical aspects of the capability. Thanks! Jeff
