Hi @WalterSimonazzi_VicPol, > For some unknown reason, our instance of ArcGIS Monitor 2023.2 has lost all stats of ArcGIS Server services over the weekend. I'm sorry to hear about this odd behavior. This is unusual. Can you please open an issue with Esri Tech Support so they can help investigate further? What release of ArcGIS Enterprise are you running? When Monitor stopped collecting metrics, did anything happen to the system? network? maybe some sort of security scan? You mentioned for other services - Monitor started re-collecting metrics at different times - do they have the same or different recycle settings? (you can check in ArcGIS Server Manager > Services > Manage Services > select a service > Processes) Do you have any other ArcGIS Server sites registered with Monitor? Did the same thing happen, or did this only happen to the single ArcGIS Server site? Again, please work with Esri Tech Support - as I don't think we'll be able to troubleshoot on the forums. Hope this helps,

The City of Grimes has a robust multimachine geographic information system (GIS) deployment, the second largest in the Des Moines metropolitan area. They chose ArcGIS Monitor, an enterprise-grade monitoring solution, to get information about the health and performance of their GIS. Monitor has given them a snapshot of the entire GIS system and its performance, and they can easily see how all the components are working together. They primarily look at CPU, memory allocations, alerts, and status changes for the enterprise GIS and Monitor has continually proven to be a very beneficial tool. Hi @RanaDas, > We were able to narrow down the issue, it was discovered that the matrics_data partition tables are not getting created. We created a table manually referring the below link and were able to capture the metrics data, but it still seems not all the data is not getting captured. Please contact Esri Tech Support and open an issue. We've fixed a couple of database partition issues in the forthcoming ArcGIS Monitor 2023.3.1 patch, but I'm unsure if yours is the same issue or not. In the thread you referenced, the Esri Case #03437483 mentioned was resolved with a workaround. Hope this helps,

Hi @RanaDas, > Although the component indicates nominal status, it is not displaying any matrix data. This usually means that the ArcGIS Monitor instance has not been licensed, or your license file has expired. You can check by navigating to the Administration tab > License. Also try restarting the Discover Observer, Under the Monitoring tab > select the component > Settings subtab > Observers > click the More ... button for Discover > View observer details > Run Observer Hope this helps,

Hi @JamesBratton, > I don't know if the Analysis views are capable of producing the ArcGIS Server report that I use. I sent examples to @DerekLaw after our meeting last year. He mentioned that he was going to put together some demonstrations for the blog. FYI, we're working on a blog now that I think will help address some of your questions. And yes, I believe it will meet some of the needs you mentioned in your email in late August. > One of the reports is the one that gives me a transaction count for a list of map services. I can sort by count or service name. I'm pretty sure the analysis view in the blog will cover this. > I can also request a specific time interval. We don't have this capability yet, but it is in the dev backlog. We expect to publish the blog soon, thanks for your patience. Hope this helps,

Hi @Pat_Gallagher, Thanks for your feedback. > Ideas that we are interested in were not part of the recent releases. All submitted ideas are reviewed and considered. Just because they were not part of recent releases, does not mean they were rejected. There are many different criteria and considerations when planning/deciding what goes into a future release, level of interest in a submitted idea on Esri Community is just one factor. > If this is not possible, can you give an update on these items? Ability to use AD or LDAPS identity store Ability to monitor URL as a resource component Both of these enhancement are under consideration by the Monitor Dev team and in the development backlog. We know there is a interest from the user community. I believe we've marked item 1 as "in product plan". If you have specific requirements or additional feedback, please feel free to send me an email directly so we can discuss further: [email protected]. Hope this helps,

Hi @Amanda__Huber, We've done some additional testing and it looks like ArcGIS Monitor 2023.3 works on tablets. Unfortunately, ArcGIS Monitor 2023.2 and earlier releases do not run properly on tablets. We suspect it has something to do with an older Calcite component library being used in the UI/UX. Please upgrade your Monitor installation to the 2023.3 release. EDIT: Actually, please wait for the ArcGIS Monitor 2023.3.1 update that is coming out by the end of Jan. Hope this helps,

Hi @Amanda__Huber, > We're seeing a error that says "This site cannot be reached" This sounds like a web page/site access issue, not something to do with ArcGIS Monitor. I would check with your IT dept, to ensure the devices have correct access to your organization's internal resources. > Are you aware of any limitations when trying to view ArcGIS Monitor 2023.2 on a tablet/ipad or mobile device in desktop mode? When you attempt to access the ArcGIS Monitor web app on a smart phone device, you will see the following screen: I tested accessing the ArcGIS Monitor web app on tablet such as an iPad, and I was able to load the sign in page. After entering credentials, the app failed to load (so similar behavior to @BrettFrahm's post). I believe something's amiss. @Amanda__Huber and @BrettFrahm: Please open up a tech support case again, mention this thread - so we can investigate further. Hope this helps,

Hi @TonyContreras_Frisco_TX, > I have unregistered the Portal and Server components from ArcGIS Monitor, but I still see the Services associated with those sources listed ... The expected behavior is once you've unregistered an enterprise portal or GIS Server, their "child" service components would also be unregistered. > We have moved our enterprise to a new environment (New servers, new version, new URLs) Can you please clarify, is the enterprise GIS deployment completely new. Or perhaps the machine/VM names are the same? What release of ArcGIS Enterprise did you move from and to? Any other information you can provide? What release of ArcGIS Monitor are you using?

Hi @MichaelRobb, Thanks for the status update. > I will note that the upgrade instructions mentions to not uninstall previous version and that the install will upgrade. nothing more. The help documentation you're referring to, is meant for ArcGIS Monitor 2023. So the statement is true, when upgrading from Monitor 2023.0, 2023.1, or 2023.2 - you can directly upgrade to 2023.3. It does not refer to Monitor 10.8.1. Note we address moving from Monitor 10.8.1 to 2023 in question 6 in the FAQ I mentioned previously. FYI, the help documentation for ArcGIS Monitor 10.8.1 is separate and can be found here. Hope this helps and happy holidays,
