Hi @AYUSHYADAV, > Can we add AWS FSx and monitor its storage or the size of a particular directory (portal content) of AWS FSx? I've checked and the answer is no - we don't support collecting metrics from AWS FSx. Sorry. Please submit an enhancement request and requirements on the ArcGIS Monitor Ideas forum. FYI, Monitor currently supports the following AWS environments: EC2, EBS, and RDS. Hope this helps,

Hi @VarunKakkar, In the example configured query in your post, it queries for the total number of portal item types in the last 7 days, which is similar to the query described in this blog ArcGIS Monitor: Analysis Elements for Enterprise portal content. See analysis element 1. In the output pie chart example, it looks like the query result is correct - but the pie chart's descriptive text (under the General section) says "Within the last 30 mins”, this should be changed to say "Within the last 7 days" - this is a string field and is not populated by the query. Is this what you mean when you say: "... but still we can see in the graph total number of contents created till date"? Items 2 and 3 in your post are covered in the blog I referenced. Hope this helps,

Hi @KikSiops, In future, I would ask that you please contact Esri Tech Support directly with possible security vulnerability questions. It is company policy to address these concerns directly with customers to ensure correct and accurate information is communicated. Other reasons: to avoid potential false alarms and to avoid advertising/promoting a potential security issue. A good resource to be aware of the the ArcGIS Trust Site: https://trust.arcgis.com/en/ Hope this helps,

Hi @KevinRathgeber1 and @ThomasM, Regarding the Request Rate metric, > Is there a calculation you can use (maybe based on hardware configuration) to determine proper thresholds. I'm unsure if there was a specific calculation, but will check and see if we can provide an answer on how the default values were set. I believe this was based on general feedback from Esri consultants and their experiences working with ArcGIS Enterprise. > Is there any sort of guide on how to set these thresholds? We don't have a guide on setting up thresholds for the various component metrics, because as @GeoJosh said "... (there) are by no means a "one size fits all" solution....". For example, you could set an alert threshold value for the Request Response Time Avg (s) metric for an ArcGIS Server component. But what might be an acceptable response time for one organization, might not be for another organization. Even within the organization, for some critical web services - the acceptable response time would likely be lower, than for another less critical web service. It would likely depend on how the web service(s) are being used (e.g., do they support critical apps/solutions?) and by how many end users. I'm sure there may be other considerations. > I don't have any real indication of what is poor performance Defining "poor performance" is also highly variable - between different organizations, the use of web services, and they workflows they support. I'm trying to provide some context as to why it is challenging to provide "general guidance" for setting alert thresholds. This UC 2023 technical session video might be useful, ArcGIS Monitor: Operational Scenarios. Hope this helps,

Hi @ChrisBerryman, > If it was possible to see the layers within each map service within monitor that would be excellent. Can you please elaborate more on what your expectation is on how this capability would work in ArcGIS Monitor? For example, would showing this type of "item" relationships (e.g., layers - services - web maps - apps) in a connectivity graph meet your needs? or would a generated list showing how items are "connected" be sufficient? > I have used other products similar to this and had the ability to report on a map service and what web maps it was a part of along with a specific layer and which service it was apart of. Can you please share the name of the product or feel free to email me directly ([email protected]) if you prefer. I'm asking because we are actively collecting user feedback and requirements on this capability. Thanks in advance,
