Hi Sowjanya, It is possible. I believe there are 3 options: 1. Use ArcGIS Online Assistant tool ArcGIS Online Assistant 2. Use a python script to copy the web app from one Portal to another Example: Copy content—Portal for ArcGIS (10.4.1) | ArcGIS for Server 3. Use the Admin Tools created by a business partner called GeoJob Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online - Geo Jobe Hope this helps,

Hi Tim, This is a pretty complicated question to answer. The answer depends on a combination of the following factors: - the hardware specs of your Server machine; - the # of instances assigned to each of your web services; - the # of machines that participate in your Server site; You also mentioned using web maps and not using ArcGIS Online, so I guess you're using Portal for ArcGIS. - Are they installed on the same machine? or two separate machines? Other factors: - the hardware specs of your Portal machine; I'm sure I'm probably missing some other factors as well. I suggest you review this site, Server Software Performance - GIS Wiki | The GIS Encyclopedia And please checkout this topic: Anticipating and accommodating users—Documentation (10.4) | ArcGIS for Server Hope this helps,

Hi Priyantha, > is it possible to use AGOL to build a robust web application to query information based on location to pre-filled a web form and add more capabilities to the same web form such as attachments, offline saving, etc. Have you looked at Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, which enables you to create custom mapping apps for the web without programming? Regarding collecting web forms, please take a look at Survey123 for ArcGIS, which enables you to collect field data based on forms. Both apps are included with your ArcGIS Online organization. Hope this helps,

Hi Adam, Sorry for the late reply, I had to check into this further. When you initially start Developer Edition, you sign into either ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS with a named user account to access their web maps. New web apps created with Developer Edition are stored locally on the machine that Developer Edition is installed on and owned by the named user account used. At this time, there is no way to change the owner of the application in Web Appbuilder Developer Edition. However, there is a workaround. For example, User1 creates web app A in Web Appbuilder Developer Edition and shares it with the ArcGIS Online organization. User2 (who is a member of the organization) could download web app A locally. Then User2 imports web app A into Developer Edition as web app B. In this way, you have effectively "changed the owner" of the web app, but now there are 2 separate apps: A and B. User1 then deletes web app A from Developer Edition. Hope this helps,

Hi Prasad, I suspect something's not quite right with the hosted feature service you published to Portal. Suggest you try to re-publish the hosted feature service to Portal? And as Jayanta requested, please post the software versions you're using. Hope this helps,

Hi Nicole, What release of Portal for ArcGIS are you using? FYI: the spatial analysis functionality in the Portal map viewer is available at the 10.4 or later releases. Have you deployed a hosting server with your Portal? In other words, have you also installed a Server site that is federated with your Portal and also enabled the ArcGIS Data Store with your Server site? Hi Royce, Actually, you can do both workflows you describe: 1. Download a configurable app's source code, then make additional changes/customizations and host on your own web server; 2. Create and configure an app in ArcGIS Online, then download its source code to host on your own web server. Based on what you want, > I've already created and configured and app that is being hosted in AGOL. I'd like to download that source, with all the configurations I've already made to it and deploy it locally. I suggest you follow the steps under the section titled "Download an app starting from My Content". EDIT: Please see more detailed steps in khutchins-esristaff's post below. Hope this helps,

Hi Adam, Yes this is possible. For Web AppBuilder embedded in ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS, you simply login as the web app item owner or Admin, go to the My Content page, select the web app item the item list, then click 'Change Owner' and select the new owner from the list of organization members. FYI, help topic for another option: Manage items—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Hope this helps,

Hi Sue, Q1) Are there any ways to define a form using python or similar scripting? No. Currently, you have 2 options to create a new survey: i) within the Survey123 website, or ii) using Survey123 Connect. Q2) Any plans to be able to define the choices for the questions (select one or select many) using a list from an external database (such as feature class domains)? To clarify, feature class domains are a property of the geodatabase that the feature class resides in. They are not stored as a list, but within the geodatabase schema. Please submit your enhancement: "the ability to define choice options for select questions in a survey from a external list" on the Ideas forum: https://community.esri.com/community/arcgis-ideas Hope this helps,

Hi Jawadh, You will need to deploy ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 or higher, with a "Web GIS" deployment - this means you will also need to deploy Portal for ArcGIS with a hosting server (e.g., a federated Server site and the ArcGIS Data Store). Having this deployment will enable you to publish scene services, which support 3D data. Scene services—Documentation | ArcGIS for Server (please see prerequisites section) To learn more about how ArcGIS Server works with Portal for ArcGIS, About using your portal with ArcGIS Server—Portal for ArcGIS (10.4.1) | ArcGIS for Server (please see the section on designating a hosting server) There's also an Esri whitepaper resource: http://www.esri.com/library/whitepapers/pdfs/publishing-hosted-3d-feature-layers.pdf Hope this helps,
