Hi Gideon, FYI: Be advised that the underlying internal architecture for ArcGIS Server was changed significantly from the 10.0 release to 10.1 and later releases. A lot of stuff under the hood was changed. For this reason, I suspect ArcCatalog 10.0 can't properly connect to your 10.4 Server site. I don't think this connection configuration is supported. I suggest you try and obtain a copy of ArcGIS Desktop 10.4 to connect to your 10.4 Server. Hi Tevfik, I suppose if you configured the Edit Widget with a feature service with a data source that's an enterprise geodatabase, with a feature class that is registered as versioned, this might be possible. After making edits, you could potentially recover the "deleted" data at the database level (e.g., within the geodatabase) by querying the feature classes' delta tables (A and D tables). This would likely require some custom development work. Hope this helps,

Hi Bugra, Your question is a bit too generalized; so I'll mention some resources to get you started. When editing in Web AppBuilder, you are working with feature services. If the source data for the feature layer you want to edit is a feature service from ArcGIS Server - you can leverage the security model available with feature services such as editor permissions and ownership-based access control. Feature service permissions and editor tracking—Documentation | ArcGIS for Server If the source data for the feature layer is a hosted feature service in Portal for ArcGIS, you can access the item details page and set editing permissions for it. Manage hosted web layers—Portal for ArcGIS | ArcGIS for Server Hope this helps,

Hi Robert, > Is there a way to format the surveys for an iPad? Using the Survey123 App on iPads works the same as on iPhones. There is nothing different. > Or is there a way to format groups side by side instead of scrolling from top to bottom. This is currently not possible. Please submit an enhancement on the ArcGIS Ideas site, ArcGIS Ideas > Or, another way to ask, Is there a way to maximize the use of the screen real estate of an ipad for surveys. Please take a look at some of the appearance options to format survey questions. Especially the select_one and select_multiple questions. Some of these options may help you optimize the larger screens provided by iPads. Appearance—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Hope this helps,

Hi Patrick, Yes, you can use a single survey for all the trees in the sample plot. You can simply collect info about each individual tree within a repeat question. Please see the attached sample tree survey form to help get you started. Hope this helps,

Hi Fahad, > The issue is with the subtype field, which displays only the coded value rather than the description of the coded subtype. I would like the user to see the description of the coded subtype instead of the value coded. FYI, this is a known limitation of feature layers in ArcGIS Online. Please review this Esri KnowledgeBase article, Problem: Unable to view domains for a feature layer enabled with coded value domains in a web map Hope this helps,

Hi Kimberly, Did you already publish a survey named "Survey-Thompson Cemetery Survey" previously? The error message suggests that a folder with the same name already exists in your ArcGIS Online organization. You can either delete the previously created survey with the same name, or publish the survey with a new name. Hope this helps,

Hi Tucker, By "widget", I believe you are referring to widgets in Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, right? As you mentioned, currently the way to view images that are part of a hosted feature layer (collected from Survey123 for ArcGIS) is to select a feature in the Web AppBuilder map display and viewing its pop-up. There are no out-of-the-box widgets that can directly query the images associated with surveys. This will require a some custom development. You may want to try posting your question in this GeoNet discussion group, Web AppBuilder Custom Widgets Hope this helps,

Hi Carmel, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I was able to repro your issue in Survey123 Connect v1.7.35 as you described and confirmed that it worked in the previous v1.6 release. We'll work to address this item for the v1.8 release. @Sarah: If you could please provide your XLSForm, we can look into your issue further. Or, please open an Esri Tech Support issue.
