Greetings Aaron, If you are using ArcGIS for SharePoint v2.1.1 (final), our developers suggest trying the following: (a). In the list edit view, remove �??ArcGIS Location�?? field (b). Remove any geocoding workflow if ran on this list (c). Create a new �??ArcGIS Location�?? column if list has Lat/Lon or run the geocoding workflow if list contains address for with location needs to be determined. (d). After performing step c, click on each list item and view this item to make sure the feature get rendered on the map. (e). If it did not get rendered on the map, try the following: �?� Disable ArcGIS for SharePoint feature from Site collection features list under Site Collection Administration. �?� Re-enable ArcGIS for SharePoint feature �?� Clear browser cache �?� Perform IIS reset �?� Repeat steps (a) through (d) I hope this solution addresses your issues. Hi mickogricko, Thank you for your patience. The "S.XML" (simplified XML)/XML-based output "report" formats are excellent options for consuming the data and *calculations* which are displayed/formatted in the PDF versions of the report. This way you can easily consume the information and leverage it in your systems, workflows, and applications. I completely empathize with you regarding your experience with the current "caption" attributes of many of the XML records returned with the S.XML and XML versions of the reports. Ideally, we should be providing "captions" that more closely represent the field descriptions in the PDF versions of the reports. This is a challenge since the fields are often nested in sub-fields and sub-headings, etc. We are assigning resources to address this challenge in our future releases. In the mean time, what you can do is map/associate the XML record (of the S.XML or XML versions of the report output) with a caption that you want to represent in your client application. You can generate both the PDF and S.XML/XML versions of the report simultaneously during application designtime and map the "name" attribute with the data or *calculated* field that interests you or is important to your system and/or stakeholders. We sincerely appreciate your frank feedback. This is extremely valuable for us. The Business Analyst Online API Drive Time and Simple Rings services allow you to generate ring and network-based study/service areas from one or more input points (map locations) while, simultaneously, allowing you to generate PDF/Excel/XML-based reports which summarize and describe demographic, psychographic, consumer behavior, and other characteristics of the underlying populations of those generated areas. In your question, you are asking if you can associate something like an identifier within the attributes of your input points which can be associated with the customizable report header fields on a "point-by-point" basis. Currently, the Drive Time and Simple Rings services give the user/client the option to specify customizable content in certain report header fields on a "report-by-report" basis but; not, unfortunately, on an input point-by-point basis. In the context of your question, this, effectively, means that, regardless of the number of input points submitted in a single Drive Time of Simple Rings service request, the customizable report header fields will stay the same. In this sense, they are "static" customizable report header field values. This is a great idea and I'm sorry to say that we don't currently support it as described. We will definitely record this in our list of user-requested features/functionality. In the meantime, I can offer you a few options: 1. Leverage the available "static" report headers: You can retrieve the list of customizable report header field names available with your subscription by submitting a Get Report Templates service request. The service will return some simple metadata which will describe the customizable field names (the "headers" property) available with your subscription with each report. Here are a couple of sample requests which create a Demographic and Income Report based on the drive time and ring-based (ring buffer) areas, respectively from two different input points. Hi Kelly. The new report is actually available in the "USACensus2010" Online API dataset. It is not available in the default ("USA") dataset. In order to specify an alternate dataset for any Online API service, you will need to add the "activeDatasetID" parameter and value to your request. Section 1 - PART 2 of 5 (had to split this up) If you recall our workflow example: â??I want to generate a Demographic and Income Report in PDF format of the City of Redlands, CA. To take it one step further, I also want to create the same report describing the Redlands ZIP codes, the county containing Redlandsâ?�---we still need to get the county which contains Redlands. Well, we might already know this but this is not convenient for areas which you are not familiar with. Additionally or alternatively, we can actually do everything we want in this step (Get the area IDs of our study locations) using an *address* (or latitude and longitude coordinates) instead of an area name. What we really want is to obtain the â??completeâ?� spatial context of the location---that is, I want to know every area for every available standard geography data layer that â??touchesâ?� or intersects that address (or those coordinates), I can leverage the Return Standard Geographies service (REST: http://help.arcgis.com/en/businessanalyst/online%20apis/services/rest/reference/index.htm?ReturnStandardGeography.html SOAP: http://help.arcgis.com/en/businessanalyst/online%20apis/services/soap/reference/index.htm?ReturnStdGeography.html ) to do this and obtain the area IDs this way as well. In our example, the Esri Headquarters is located at â??380 New York St. Redlands, CA 92373â?� and I wanted to get every area from every available standard geography data layer that is associated with this location.
