WOW - I was tearing my hair out trying to figure this out. Default values are working correctly in Pro 2.7 but when I publish this data as a feature service to Enterprise 10.8.1 the default values are NULL. This is what worked for me: Set default value > click into another field > click back into the field where I am setting the default value > click OK.

Tried that but unfortunately does not pick up the time zone in CST this way, still reverts to UTC even though Database time is set in during editor tracking and while overwriting the service. We are using dedicated instances - there is a known bug with 1071 and schema updates not working with services using Shared Instances.

I found that if I run the Enable Editor Tracking tool and create the required fields + specify Database Time, it still collects in UTC. Very annoying workaround but I did figure out a solution. I need to Enable Editor Tracking via right click (this will create the fields and default to UTC time) > Run the Disable Editor Tracking tool > Run the Enable Editor Tracking GP Tool, specify the already created fields and database time > Delete the existing REST Service > Publish a new service and set the time zone to CST and adjust for daylight savings. Overwriting the existing service even after enabling editor tracking this way does not work, still collects in UTC time. Filed a case with esri about this.

I have around 30 Feature Services published from a SQL Server 2019 EGDB to Enterprise 1071 from Pro 2.7. I was asked to track the date and time when edits are made - simple enough I stopped the services and enabled editor tracking on the feature classes in Pro. I am overwriting the services and during the publishing process, changing the Time Zone configuration from UTC to Central Standard and adjusting for daylight savings. After publishing, records are still being collected in UTC time. Server Manager shows the Time Zone correctly. Any ideas what's going on here? Thanks

I have a geoprocessing service that executes a simple field calculation on a feature service in my map. All it does is change values in a Field called 'Visible' from 'Yes' to 'No'. There are no input or outputs the user needs to set. I just want the user to click a button to execute the service. Using the out of the box Geoprocessing Widget, this is as much as I can simplify it. User clicks Run and it switches to the output tab. Is there a way to hide the Output tab?

I have published point dataset as a Feature Service to ArcGIS Enterprise 1071. This creates a map service and feature service. In Portal, I can change the security of these individually > Map service shared to Everyone and Feature Service shared to a group. But it still appears that the Feature Service is publicly accessible and editable. Am I doing something wrong here?

Running a federated 1071 set up. I'm trying to audit our Hosted data and pull a list of Service names, publish date and publisher username. Is something like this possible? In our GIS Server Manager there is a folder called 'Hosted' with some of this information, just not sure how to pull it into a text or csv file. Thanks

May be useful: For whatever reason, generating tokens only works for us when using Built In portal account. If we're using another IDP like Active Directory or Azure Active directory then we cant generate an arcgis token using those IDP accounts.

We have a public facing app for the public to drop points and draw lines. The Feature Services they are editing are public facing. I'm looking for a way to only show points and lines in the map that are created by the user accessing the application at that time. For example, user A goes to the map and creates 3 points. User B then goes to the map and does not see any points till he creates their own. Is something like this possible? We are running Enterprise 1061 and can use web appbuilder dev edition. thanks!

@SethLewis1 This almost works for us. After adding the app ID in the config.json I now get a popup asking to login to our portal But when I hit OK, I get a 400 invalid redirect uri error Any ideas? Edit: Nevermind, figured it out by setting the redirect urls to the application's website! Thanks so much!

Okay thanks. What's interesting is that we do have another 1081 deployment with Azure AD as our IDP - and I can generate tokens using enterprise accounts.

Running a Federated 1081 Enterprise deployment with Azure AD as our identity store. I am unable to generate a token using our enterprise login credentials. Tested from https://webadaptor.domain.com/arcgis/sharing/rest/generateToken But I get this error: It does work if I use a built in account that isnt tied to our IDP. Any ideas why this happening?
