I really LOVE that I can use the Map Tour with an existing feature class, so that stories can be updated on the fly - this is fantastic. I realise this is a long shot, but is there any way I can change the settings so that each point on the map tour is shown using two different base maps (in this case I'd like it to show first in a Scene and then on a 2d Map, but I can think of other occasions where I'd like to show the relevant feature class with two different sets of contextual layers drawn from the same basemap). Any thoughts on how this could be achieved would be very welcome! Might Experience Builder have the tools for this? Thanks in advance, Helen

Hi @Kanin , and happy new year to you too! Many thanks for the suggestion. I'm creating this survey using the survey 123 connect app, and want users to access it via a browser. What would the xls equivalent be for the 'use device location..' checkbox? I'll give this a try, but unfortunately the location that users drop is likely to often not match their current location. On a desktop, it takes 2 mouse clicks to drop a location in, but on a mobile, the same process takes 4 taps, and seems less intuitive. Thanks again for your help, Helen

If you save the relevant web map with the relevant layers switched on, that should come through to the app when it opens.

Hi, I have a storymap classic that uses an embedded story map (newer template) to include a slide show. It was previously working, and I've just made some other changes to the story map (not relating to this), and the embedded storymap has just stopped working. I have narrowed down the issue to the '?cover=false' parameter within the iframe. If I include this parameter, the embedded storymap doesn't work. If I remove the parameter it works fine (but I have a blank space at the top of the page that I'm trying to eliminate). This is the code that I'm using: <iframe src="https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/7d1d565926204a6daf9f6c331d4501f1?cover=false" width="100%" height="500px" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen allow="geolocation"></iframe> which I've had to simplify to this: <iframe src="https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/7d1d565926204a6daf9f6c331d4501f1" width="100%" height="500px" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen allow="geolocation"></iframe> Here is the storymap that I'm using that contains the embedded code: https://mapitout.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=2856d1799d204a12b5dfaed0c241334c# Any suggestions as to what could be causing this very gratefully received! Helen

Can you add target="_self" to the end of your URL to ensure it opens in the same browser window?

Sorry, you're right @kurdishbrwar , here are some images to demonstrate! Step 1. click the map Step 2. Go to location within the map (map is at full screen) Step 3: click the map pin button on the bottom right of the map, to drop a pin Step 4: click the black question heading at the top of the map to return to previous screen. Step 5: Click 'submit' button to submit the questionnaire. Is there any way to prevent the map from becoming full-screen? It's the step where users have to click on the question heading to go back to the actual question that seems counter-intuitive to me. Am I missing something obvious?! Many thanks for any help you can provide. Helen

Hi all, I have a very basic Survey123 questionnaire which just contains a Geopoint field - I just want users to add a location and submit it. When users are on a mobile device, it seems counterintuitive that they have to click through to the map, and then click the question heading again to go back and then push another button to actually submit the location (although I can see the logic in the map becoming full screen for them). Is there any way to streamline this, or make it more intuitive for mobile phone users? Very many thanks for any thoughts in advance! Helen

Hi @hannahggarcia , I think it would be worth suggesting the labelling on the map swipe widget as an Idea (https://community.esri.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/arcgis-ideas), this would be a great addition to the tool!

Is there any way of removing the storymap heading section? Once a storymap has been embedded into a collection it seems like overkill to have the heading within the menu bar at the top (where it's really helpful); and again in very big letters below!

This is a fantastic storymap in the storymap gallery: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/0f58d49c566b486482b3e64e9e5f7ac9 Both in terms of content and presentation. Would any of the storymap team be able to share how the sliding timeline below was created? Is it an embedded image?

I've watched people who aren't at all familiar with storymaps navigate some storymaps developed with the new template, and more than one person reached a sidecar section of the storymap, and thought that was the end of the story. If there were some way of either making it more obvious that the user needs to scroll, or making the sidecar smaller (so it is more like one of the embedded maps, where it is more obvious that you can keep scrolling), that would be great. Many thanks, Helen

Hi, I have a strange issue when editing story maps. If I press the delete button on a blank paragraph (to remove that paragraph); the text from the paragraph below gets duplicated (see example here: https://www.loom.com/share/d8eed980c4e045eb933fa7b6753908a7 ) Is this a known issue? I couldn't find any record of it within other posts. Many thanks, Helen
