Shafi,     Individual layer transparency of a dynamic map service is not possible you can only control the transparency of the whole map service. You will either have to do this in the original MXD of the server in ArcMap or break your map service into multiple dynamic map services or feature layers. ... View more

Raymol,     I don't have the answer for why the encoding does not work but I can tell you it has been this way in the API for several releases now. I did come up with some thing that works for me. I don't write the graphic to sql. I write the info to a text file on the client machine. Erwan,     Do you plan on making this widget available to the public? Would you consider collaborating and having this part of my enhanced search widget? I have been looking into things that I would add to my enhanced search widget while I am migrating it to FlexViewer 2.1 and have been considering buffering. I completely understand if you would like to just publish this widget on your own. Nidhi,     I think for what you are trying to do you will have to export each individual map service (layer) and then in .Net merge then together to form the final image. There is not a export ability as you stated on the map component. You could use flex to capture an image of the map but you would be reduced to the screen resolution of the client. ... View more
