You are welcome. You don't have to rebuild the project, you just have to download it from GitHub and edit index.html to reference your MapTour application ID, please see the instructions. But yes you would have to host it, Dropbox is a very good option if you don't have access to a webserver, you may need to enable Dropbox the application hosting feature.

Hi, Sorry about the issue. I opened an issue for you so you can track it's status. Until it is resolved I gave you a workaround there that require to use the downloadable.

Hi Kevin, Sorry about that, that's a very unfortunate regression of our last release. We are looking at it and will let you know this week if we get that patched in ArcGIS Online or if we have a workaround for you.

The issue with application not opening when using CSV layer has been resolved with the latest release of Map Tour (available in ArcGIS Online today), see release notes on GitHub.

Without user interaction, I'm not aware of any template that would allow that. With user interaction you have plenty of choice with our templates, especially the one that fall into the category of comparing maps and the new Map Journal would also allow that (with Map Journal you don't have to create multiple maps and can toggle layer on and off when user navigate between sections or click a special link).

Hi, In order for your application to be public, the webmap and all of it's layer also have to be public. Both ArcGIS Online and Map Tour builder are supposed to do that for you when you share it. Have you checked the sharing of your webmap? If your webmap is shared, you should inspect your webmap to find the service that is creating the issue.

Hi Koen, We will be releasing a new template based on that prototype in the next release of ArcGIS Online (July 3rd). It will have the click to change map functionality and a builder app will help you create your story without any coding need. From now the Elephant Crisis template is available on our GitHub but would require quite a lot of technical work to make it work. So stay tuned 🙂

Your image are low resolution. On the bottom right you have a download button, then click All Sizes, you will arrive on this page and see that original resolution that you upload on Flickr was very low.

I'm pretty sure everything is right and it's just that your original pictures on Flickr are not in the resolution you expect. Maybe re-upload them? Otherwise if you can paste a link to your Flickr album I can take a look.

Hi, Unfortunately, Facebook recently abandoned the API we were using to dynamically set the title, description and thumbnail. That's something that we should get fixed soon but from now your workaround is to use the downloadable version of the template and edit index.html to include your title, description and a link to the thumbnail you wants to be used (there is documentation in that file).

Hi Sorry about that. It's quite weird I have it working on other WMS not in mercartor... I opened an issue on GitHub to track the bug. From now, as a workaround, you can follow the developer guide and modify storymaps/core/Core.js loadWebMap function to set your extent in the correct projection.

Hi, Sorry about that, this looks like a know issue that will be fixed with next release of ArcGIS Online. The known issue may happen when a zoom level is used (Settings>Zoom level). If you are using one, using a lower-scale zoom level should resolve your issue (usually it is ok up to level 14 or 15 but it depend on various condition). If this doesn't fix your issue, please send me a public link to your Map Tour and I will dig more.
