Any web server should works. You don't need any special configuration. I can't access your server so I can't help diagnose more... could you post a screenshot of the index.html configuration section. There is more information about web servers in map Journal documentation Esri/map-journal-storytelling-template-js · GitHub

Hi Andy, Cool, well you have done 99% of the work, double clicking on index.html won't work (I know we should have a clear error when you do that), you have to open the app served through your web server like by entering http://127.0.0.1/map_tour/ in your web browser. I made the instructions for our latest template (Map Journal) better and will edit Map Tour documentation to follow the same pattern soon, please check it out if the previous advice doesn't help: Esri/map-journal-storytelling-template-js · GitHub

Hi Amanda, Thanks, you are welcome. Some of your tab names contains a underscore, you can edit that through ArcGIS Online Map Viewer by renaming the layers. Note that the Map Viewer doesn't display underscore them but they are there, you will see them while editing. Also note that to remove them you have to make more edit than just removing the underscore or Map Viewer will detect that and keep the underscore. In other word rename your layer "abcd", save then rename it with the proper tab name

I haven't been able to reproduce your issue. Could you share a link to your journal? Technically if you remove the link, save and reload the app and still see the map marker it most likely means that the marker is included in your map layers.

weir that should be it. And you confirm that your pictures appear geolocated when you view them on the Flickr Map? I won't be able to dig more without your account and album info...

I took another look at the issue embedding private apps in a public Journal and the behavior of IE is correct and in fact better than other browser. If you share the Journal with your organization instead of making it public, user signed in will have no issue accessing the apps, which is what you want I guess.

Yes there a limitation of 101 sections (home section + 100 sections). To use more sections, you will have to download the application, host it, edit the following property and use the builder to create the remaining sections.

Ok, I will look more and let you know if there is a solution. This looks like a technical limitation of IE that we may not be resolve soon. I hope in the mean time you can make the class viewer application public. Thanks for your understanding.

Are the classic viewer templates public? IE doesn't seems to allow to display a template that require authentication. Please let me know if this is what you are trying to do on purpose.

Most likely it's because the map is not shared with you. We are working on a new functionality that will let Map Journal author knows when some of the Journal content is not shared the same way than the Journal itself. From now author have to make sure all the Journal maps are shared appropriately themselves.

The spyglass app only works with regular GIS layer so if you just have an image, you will need to convert the image to a GIS layer. You would typically do that in ArcGIS Desktop using the georeferencing tools ArcGIS Help 10.1 - Georeferencing tools or Georeferencing an image in ArcGIS | Columbia University Libraries Then create a webmap with that layer and creating your spyglass will be straightforward.

Bonjour, Yes you will find plenty of tool online to help you create the iframe tag from the app address, like HTML Basix - iFrame code generator We are integrating that feature in our most recent template and will roll over all of them in the future. See for example in a Map Journal you can the iframe code using http://npca.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/index.html?appid=28b0d27559ce45cf828e5f3e0b7561c3&webmap=aa0b6b3a4cac48ba8dd…
