Sorry about your issue, this looks like a bug, if you are using the same webmap in two entries it should only be loaded once. Could you share a link to your app?

Thanks, this has never been reported, we will look if we can reproduce the issue. When you create the tour from StoryMaps website, a webmap is created behind the scene for you. You can find it though "My Content" in ArcGIS Online and modify it to include layers. This should not change anything regarding your first issue but I thought I would just precise that.

HI Andrea, sorry about your issues. If your network connection is working fine it must be a bug. Do you see this happening after a specific set of actions in the builder? One advice I can give: it may be because you are entering some text content that the application doesn't know how to deal with. This can happen for exemple if you copy/paste content or try to create html tags. Are you doing any of this?

Sorry you are also facing the issue. I will keep you updated as soon as I have an answer from the core team. In the meantime if you have saved your Webmap (through Map Viewer or Map Tour Builder) those tags have been removed So you will have to add them back using an Iframe tag like soundcloud for example.

Hi Ferdinand, My message was complete The fit option should not cut any of your image. If your image is large, it will get scaled down, if it is small it won't get scaled up so this should work in any case but i may miss something. Could you share a link to your Journal? About the issue with number of features exceeding a limit, you will have to host your data in ArcGIS Online as hosted Feature Service or use ArcGIS Server.

Hi Peter, Sorry about the issue. This is a regression introduced in the latest March release of ArcGIS Online. For security reason, we have defined a list of tags that are allowed and we missed the audio tag. I will report the issue. In the meantime it won't be possible to include audio in Map Tour through the audio tag, but if you can embed a player like soundcloud through an Iframe that would works. Note that the audio tag is still possible in Map Journal or Map Series.

Map Journal includes two layout: Side Panel and Floating Panel. That application use the Side Panel which as you notice is not really adapted for sections with small content. The Floating panel would works as expected. We also recommend Map Series as an alternative for stories with short narrative Story Map Series | Story Maps

Hi Scott, Sorry I missed your post. Map Tour implement responsive UI depending on browser resolution and can incorrectly detect a browser window that is tall but not very large as a mobile device. Your workaround is to reduce the window height, when the height will be smaller than the width, the builder will works. Our most recent template Map Journal and Map Series don't have those issues. We will fix that in the next major version of Map Tour.

Sorry about your troubles. Can you paste a link to a webmap that is failing in the first case? Do you have any layers in it? Map Tour is indeed analyzing your webmap to find a Map Tour layer, in your case looks like it has found one potential layer in your webmap but it fails when using it. The builder display a basemap switcher in the top right corner, limited to the ArcGIS Online basemap. If you want to use a custom basemap this is not possible to use that. But if that scenario, you can edit your webmap basemap through ArcGIS Online Map Viewer (Map Tour Builder create a webmap for you behind the scene, you will find it in ArcGIS Online). There should be another workaround: in the scenario 1 switch the visibility of all your webmap layers to not visible before opening the builder. After you have created the Feature Service you should be able to turn them back to visible.
