Wanted to see if anyone else had this problem. I starting using the ESRI Survey 123 Connect Desktop App to design and edit the survey form and then publish it to AGOL. After creating a few surveys, others were not able to see the results. However, if I just created the survey from from My Surveys on the website, published and then recorded data, everyone was able to see them. Is this a problem with the 123 Connect app?

Some of the workflows/tasks we are looking at implementing with our front office and engineering staff is our new construction workflow. The purpose of this is to collaborate and keep everyone informed (Application status, payments rec'd, permits issues, estimates created, etc). Also, looking at producing an internal outage/crew location project so our front office can educate customers when they call in about a known outage and/or if crew is working in the area. There are a few other workflows that we are doing round tables on, but these are the main ones we want to incorporate into our current Workforce platform. We understand that workforce is specially for the field crews. However, we are trying to elevate it and make it a tool that can be used company wide (Front office, operations, dept supervisors, engineering, management, etc). Thank You

From my understanding, the admin and/or creator does not have any editing control on the assignment status (Unassigned, In Progress, Declined, etc). Having the ability as the administrator to edit/modify/create assignment status(s) would be a HUGE plus. Presently, we are not so much using the status description, but more of a specific colored symbol to indicate the assignment status. This makes it difficult for implementation and training. If the administrator could add project specific or task specific status(s), it would be a big benefit. We will need to have different status description(s) based on the project (Paid, Not-Paid, Investigation, Follow-up, etc). Now, based on the project creation, Assigned would be a Yellow symbol which would indicate an investigation requirement, as an example. Thank You

We are in the process of implementing an ArcGIS Workforce deployment project company wide. Currently, our department supervisors use the Dispatcher user type and they use their office PC and an Android tablet. Our electric & water field crew(s) are all field workers and they use the Android app on their company Samsung devices. One of the difficulties I am having is our 3rd group, which is mainly office workers (Billing department, Engineering department and support personnel). They will be using the Field Worker type and this is how we are having issues. Currently, there is no Windows PC Application for them to use at their workstation. From my understanding, the Field Worker map and functionality needs to be done on an application (Android, IOS, etc) and not on a web browser. It would be very helpful to have a WInows 10/11 PC Application that can utilize the Field Worker Map specifically for those that work at a PC workstation. Thank You

I have recently started implementing our ArcGIS Workforce platform for our Electric Department. One of the task(s) I am working on is designing and programming a series of survey(s) - (Inventory Stock Form, Emergency Service Order, Safety Check-list, etc). I've learned that you can only link (1) survey to (1) Assignment VERSUS having different survey(s) associated with the same assignment type. There are multiple times that our foreman will need to fill-out multiple survey forms for the same project/assignment. Do not see the purpose of having multiple assignment(s) for one job/project in the field. Would be nice to assign multiple survey(s) forms to any assignment type.

I am working on designing and creating a survey for inventory check-out for new build(s) in the field by our electric linecrew. I have been able to program a series of drop-down entries for the foreman to choose from by looking at a table in one of our Hosted Feature Layers. They choose the inventory number in one drop-down and then choose the description of the inventory product in the next. What I am trying to do is for the Description to auto populate based on the selection they choose in the inventory number. See Attachment(s) STOCK NUMBER #1 is the field the foreman selects the inventory number (looking at the table in the Feature Layer). DESCRIPTION #1 is the field I would like to auto populate based on the selection in STOCK NUMBER #1 FEATURE LAYER TABLE is the table the survey is looking at for the drop-downs. EXAMPLE: If Foreman selects 1040 in STOCK NUMBER, the DESCRIPTION would auto populate to Anchor Rod Triple Eye 1" X 8'. The goal is to help the foreman and save time. Thank you for any advice u can give

We are working on implementing a new UG Electric Locate(s) Project. We also want to add our Electric Infrastructure (Hosted Feature Layer in AGOL from ArcGIS Pro) as a layer in the Project. From opening the Dispatcher and Field Worker Map in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, I was able to add and configure the layer(s) and attributes. However, when opening the project in Workforce (Dispatcher & Field Worker Map), the user is not able to select a feature (Overhead Primary, Transformer, etc) and view the attributes behind the layer. Is there a setting I am missing? Need it to work the same way as Field Maps does (For viewing attachments, attributes, etc), without requiring our locator to open a completely separate map. Thank You

Doing a Follow-up on this to see if there has been any changes that I am unaware of. I too, would need to assign multiple surveys to a specific assignment. An example would be an Electric Investigation assignment would be assigned for our Field Crew to go out and investigate an issue. When its determined, for an example, there is damage to an OH transformer. They would have to fill-out a Tailboard safety form, an inventory form and an As-Built/Transformer Exchange form. Do not see having (3) separate Assignments for (1) job. Appreciate the feedback

I am presently working on an integration project with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Workforce for our Electric Department composed of our Department Supervisor and electric field crew(s). One of the task(s) is to include our infrastructure in the Dispatcher and Field Worker Map(s) in AGOL and Workforce. As many know, for this to work the Hosted Feature Layer has to have the Enable Editing and Enable Sync checked in the settings for the Hosted Feature Layer. Currently, I am unable to check Enable Sync, keeps giving me a "Save wasn't successful. Try Again Later" error message. However, it does not give me that error if I Enable Editing. Is this an issue with AGOL OR is there something that I am doing wrong? I am working with a Hosted Feature Layer that was uploaded to AGOL via ArcGIS Pro that originated from a File GDB. I have also tried to publish a Web Map via ArcGIS Pro with the same problems. Thank You

Thank you Tim. That did the trick. Apparently, I had to add the path to the .EXE and the .PY in quotes. That is why it was not running. Appreciate it

C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.5\python.exe "C:\Users\cwafstet\Documents\MODERN GIS WORKING FILES\PYTHON SCRIPTS COLLECTION\CIS DATA GIS UPDATES\CISMIS_ElectricAccounts_ActiveStatus.py" This is what my Python 2.7 call-out looks like within my BATCH file via Notepad. Trying to rewrite it to match with the online files says is not working. How should this look for Python 3? I know this should be very simple but is really frustrating me. Appreciate it.

I am in the process of converting everything from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro. For years, I have had a series of Batch Files that were used in Window's Task Scheduler to run dozens of Stand Alone Python scripts overnight to update my GIS data from external databases. Part of the project is to convert the code from Python 2 to Python 3. One of the items I cannot figure out is how to convert the existing BATCH files with the collection of Python 2 scripts to an executable BATCH file with Python 3 scripts. I learned how to put a script into a BATCH file and run it outside of ArcGIS Pro, but I need to add multiple Python Scripts in a single BATCH file to run them one after another, similar to what I was able to do with Python 2 (2.7). I am stuck, so any help would be great. Thank You

UPDATE Talked to our IT Department who manages the networked drives, the particular directories I was writing to were compressed, unknown to myself. After they decompressed those directories, the ArcPy Copy Tool worked like a charm with no error code(s).

Vince: I talked with our IT Department regarding this issue. They say our Anti-Virus software shouldn't be affecting anything. However, if the drive folder is compressed/uncompressed, does that have anything to do with it? The drive folder I am writing too may be having issues due to that compress/uncompressed process our IT department has in place.

Danny Thank you for the quick reply. Very simple solution and probably helps me build a couple dozen different trace result tools knowing the very basic elementary features of the trace tool.
