HI @MaxNilsson Thanks for your post here on GeoNet. The issue that you are experiencing is expected behavior and can easily be resolved 🙂 With the July 2021 release of Urban, plans and projects that are in public content can no longer be edited. The editing mode is only available for design plans and projects. Check out the "General" section of the release notes for additional details: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/urban/get-started/get-started-release-notes.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_7E7153C8008547CCBC457537D254DABC Choose from one of the two alternatives to edit your plan: 1) Filter the urban overview by using the content scope switcher so that it doesn't show public plans and projects - choose from any of the options highlighted in the green rectangle as shown in the screenshot below (depending on the sharing settings of your design). Open the design plan detail card. There you will be seeing the "Open" button 🙂 2) In case you don't have access to the original design plan or maybe accidentally deleted it, create a new design copy from the public version of your plan, by clicking the "Save As" button on the public plan detail card. Please let us know if you are having further questions 🙂

HI @AugustNastasi I'm sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues with your existing buildings layer. I quickly tried to replicate the issue on our end with your buildings layer and wasn't able to reproduce it. Can you maybe double-check that the Urban is properly configured? 1) Open the data manager by clicking the cogwheel icon in the top right corner of the view 2) Check the "Existing buildings layer for schematic visualization" section in the "Settings" tab of the data manager

Hi @AugustNastasi , Please make sure that your existing buildings layers are in the web Mercator (auxiliary sphere) coordinate system (EPSG code 3857). This is the coordinate system that is being used in your urban model. Looking at the 2nd screenshot you've shared (the one showing your existing buildings in the scene viewer), it looks as if your data might not yet be in the web Mercator coordinate system. In case you are having the raw data of your existing buildings at hand (i.e. not the slpk), I'd suggest loading the data into a global scene in ArcGIS Pro and re-publish it again from there (see attached screenshot). Thanks, Dominik

Hi @AugustNastasi , Thanks for your follow-up question. It is intentional that scenario design visualizations are not loaded in the overview when the project is NOT selected. There are two main reasons for this behavior: 1) To keep the overview visually as simple as possible, there shouldn't be too much of a mix between existing buildings (usually LOD1 or LOD2) and building models attached to a project which usually have a higher level of detail. 2) In the case of many projects with a design visualization, loading all design visualizations in the overview would significantly deteriorate the performance. The intended workflow would be the following: For scenario 1, draw an LOD1 building in the project editor that has about the same volume as your design visualization building --> LOD1 building and design visualization will overlap in the editor. Switch back to the overview. As long as the project is selected, the design visualization will be shown in the overview. When you de-select the project/close the detail card, the LOD1 building that you drew in the editor, will be displayed in the overview: P.S. 1: If you would create a project that only has an LOD1 building drawn in Urban (and no design visualization), this building would also be shown while the project is selected/the project detail card is displayed - and not only when the project detail card is NOT selected. P.S. 2: For projects, Urban always displays the LOD1 buildings and demolish areas (as drawn in the project editor) of the 1st scenario in the overview. Please let us know if you have further questions. Thanks, Dominik

Hi @AugustNastasi , Thank you very much for your question and your interest in ArcGIS Urban. The intended workflow for what you are trying to achieve is the following: When in the project editor, make sure that you are in the right scenario. From the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, click "> Demolish" (the bulldozer icon in the left corner). Now you can either draw a custom polygon or define the entire study area of the project as the demolition area. Any existing building that overlaps the demolition area will now be masked out and you no longer need to work with two existing building layers. Please let us know if you have further questions. Thanks, Dominik

Hi @Aaron_DeBoer, Thanks for your interest in ArcGIS Urban and your message. The easiest way to learn more about the data model and also to get some hands-on experience on ArcGIS Urban is probably by signing- up for a free trial on https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-urban/trial. There you'll also find an option to get an Urban trial license assigned to your existing ArcGIS Online organization. Our ArcGIS Urban Essential Skills tutorial videos on YouTube might also be of interest to you - especially the ones about the "Data Manager". Please feel free to reach out if you have more questions. -Dominik

Hi Yann-Eric Boyeau, Thanks for your question. I'm sorry to hear that the public feedback feature of ArcGIS Urban is not working as expected in your case. The data model of Hub Annotations layers was slightly changed before the first release of ArcGIS Urban in July 2019. Based on the screenshots you've shared it looks as if your Hub Annotations layer was already created in 2018 - i.e. it doesn't include yet the Urban specific changes to its data model. As an immediate solution, you could consider one of the following workarounds: Delete and re-create Hub Annotations layer In the Urban data manager, set "Public Engagement" to disabled. Delete the current Hub Annotation layer. To prevent data loss you would need to create a data backup before deleting the layer. In the URban data manager, set "Public Engagement" to enabled. This automatically creates a new Hub Annotation layer that follows the updated Hub Annotation layer schema. Add missing fields to existing Hub Annotations layer Sign in to ArcGIS Online as an administrator. Locate the Hub Annotations Layer. Add the missing fields to the layer - the screenshot for the complete list of fields of the Hub Annotations Layer. Have an excellent day 🙂 -Dominik

Hi Samiya Al Ismaily, Regarding 1): This already looks good 🙂 Regarding 2): Do the parcels disappear again after having drawn the study area for a Plan or a Project before you click the "Add Plan" / "Add Project" button in the top right corner of the screen? It is expected though that the parcels are no longer displayed in the overview after having clicked the "Add Plan" / "Add Project" button. Regarding 3): I cannot reproduce this behavior with our test dataset. Maybe you can share the parcel dataset with me - either as a through a zipped file geodatabase or through an AGO Feature Layer - so that I can investigate if the issue you are experiencing is caused by the data or by the application? Feel free to drop me a PM on GeoNet or an email. Thank you, Dominik
