Hi @ScottEdmondson , Thanks for reaching out. Regarding the documentation section, as highlighted in your attached screenshot: Our documentation is indeed wrong here. Instead of "search for the ArcGIS Online layer that contains the zoning boundaries" it should say "search for the ArcGIS Online layer that contains the existing metric values". We will fix this in the next documentation update cycle. Regarding the second part of your question: This documentation topic covers configuring metrics including importing existing metric values on the Urban Model level. Existing metric values can be imported for any metric. Whenever you create a plan, the metrics and existing metric values available on the Urban Model at creation time, are copied to that plan. For projects, only the metrics are copied. The metrics (plans & projects) and the existing metric values (plans) can also be configured and edited on each plan and project individually. Any edits on metrics and existing metric values on the plan and project level don't impact the metrics and existing metric values configuration on the Urban Model level. There are also dedicated documentation pages for working with metrics on the plan and project level: For plans: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/urban/help/help-analyze-plan.htm For projects: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/urban/help/help-metrics-project.htm @ScottEdmondson wrote: In particular, the discussion of existing conditions data seems to be limited to ONLY pop, household, and jobs, yet one would think that one would be able to -- and need to and want to -- import existing conditions data for every metric one was going to use. Which particular parts of the documentation made you think that existing metric values can only be configured for pop, households, and jobs? A pointer would be much appreciated. Don't hesitate to reach out in case of further questions. -Dominik P.S.: We had a webinar around metrics earlier this year. The recording is available here. Maybe you find it useful.

Hi @SenadHodzic1 , Thank you for your question and your interest in ArcGIS Urban on Enterprise. We haven't decided yet if (and if yes when) we will be launching a public early adopter program following the private early adopter program starting this summer. For the latter we don't have any space left unfortunately. Maybe you can send me your contact information via private message so that we could contact you in case of a public early adopter program. The public release of ArcGIS Urban on Enterprise is still anticipated for 2024. In case of further questions, please feel free to reach out. -Dominik

Hi @JemimaGreer , As for the first part of your question: I was recently also looking for some NSW/Australian elevation data and came across this webpage: https://www.ga.gov.au/scientific-topics/national-location-information/digital-elevation-data The "packaged data" section lists some elevation datasets you can download. You may find something that suits your needs there as well. I hope this helps—Good luck with the research project.

Hi @MaximeDemers , Thanks for your question. It is correct that both public feedback and internal discussions are stored outside of the Urban database. Urban's public feedback and internal discussion capabilities are powered by technology provided by Esri's ArcGIS Hub team. Public feedback is currently stored in a feature layer called "Hub Annotations." This feature layer is created automatically on your ArcGIS Online org the first time you enable "Public Engagement" in any Urban Model on a given org. There is always just one "Hub Annotations" layer per ArcGIS Online org. If you have multiple Urban Models with "Public Engagement" enabled, they will all write to the same feature layer. However, we plan to move away from the "Hub Annotations" layer soon and will start leveraging "hub.js" - a library that allows integrating different functionality provided by ArcGIS Hub. For the internal discussions we use "ArcGIS Hub Discussions" which is a part of the "hub.js" library. "Hub Discussions" has its own mechanism to store the individual posts. There is currently no function in place yet, that allows exporting them. Please feel free to submit an ArcGIS Urban Idea if you think such an export capability should be provided by Urban. In case of additional questions, please reach out.

Hi @MelanieNeedle , Thanks a lot for reaching out. Building duplication What you are observing is correct: the duplicate tool only works for individual building floors within the same building. There is currently no tool available in Urban, that allows you to copy & paste entire buildings neither within the same parcel nor from one parcel to another. Please feel free to suggest an ArcGIS Urban Idea if you think that such functionality should be available in Urban. As a workaround, you could use the Upload footprints capability: 1) Draw the building footprints in ArcGIS Pro using the editing tools. 2) Publish the layer with the building footprint polygons to ArcGIS Online 3) In the plan configuration, use Urban's "Upload footprints" capability 4) Use the spaces editing tools in Urban to refine the buildings that were generated based on the imported building footprints. Building alignment Currently, there is snapping when drawing new spaces/surfaces or when editing the vertices of existing spaces/surfaces. There is no snapping when moving entire buildings. If you think that such capability would be crucial for Urban, please suggest an ArcGIS Urban idea - ideally with some additional insights about the use case(s) where such functionality would come in handy. In case of additional questions and feedback, please let us know. -Dominik

Hi @BrunoSeiler , Just a quick update on this topic: The October 2022 release of Urban now provides numerical feedback as you draw new or edit existing geometries. Snapping to full meters/decimeters while editing is not supported yet, though. We are well aware that this is also an important requirement for the overall drawing experience in Urban. The editing & drawing experience in ArcGIS Urban relies on the work of other teams within Esri. We are in close contact with those teams to have the basis for the next improvement steps ready as soon as possible. Thanks, Dominik

Hi @paigethornton1 Thanks for your question. To get to the root of the issue you are experiencing with the "Built" column not being populated on the selected parcel, I would recommend ensuring that there are no parcel geometries overlaying on top of each other. Can you confirm that there are no parcel geometries overlapping each other in your plan (and specifically within the area where you see the "Built" column not being populated)? Additionally, how did you create the building on the selected parcel? Is it manually drawn? Is it generated from an imported building footprint? Was it created on another parcel and then moved to the selected parcel? Please don't hesitate to reach out in case of further questions 🙂 Thanks, Dominik

With the new UX, shipped with the February 2022 release, any user who has access to a project can see the details (such as street furniture, trees, surface areas, etc) when opening it. The project detail card with the description etc that used to be displayed when clicking on a project pin in the overview is now also incorporated in the new project viewing experience (for public users) and in the improved project editing experience (for licensed users) respectively.
