This is great @TomNeer thanks for posting this - Forgive me for asking, but are you able to point me in the right direction to get build the same calculation for a state plane coordinate translation to longitude? Thanks--

The Search Widget also needs this action as an option as well. Otherwise you have to configure a feature info widget for every layer you want return results on.

Hello - has anyone encountered any issues with publishing certain hosted feature layers from ArcGIS Pro 3.1 to ArcEnterprise 11.0? Typically I right-click a layer in the TOC, select 'share as web layer', set parameters as: No editing Summary Add tags Time zone EST Adjust for Daylight Savings No assignment of unique ids - I want each layer to post at index 0 for access in open data That's it. Very simple. Been using this method since Pro 1.x. Now everything just hangs on the Upload Service Definition stage. Interestingly, the arcpy method for sharing: stageSDDraft>StageService>UploadServiceDefinition from my python IDLE works just fine. This made me think that my Pro staging directory was somehow inaccessible to the hosting server, but I push vector tile packages from that location via python all the time and it still works. Thanks, David

Ok thanks @MikeMillerGIS , that's what we thought. We have the sql resources though, so for us it makes more sense to deploy in their own instances - as we've spent so much time prepping the separate asset packages.

Ok thanks Won't network structure layers acquiring an _1 suffix break attribute rules?

Hi @MikeMillerGIS - we are deploying both the Water and Sanitary UNs. Maybe this is obvious, but it appears that for the enterprise, we will need to deploy each UN in their own separate SQL user databases as the structure network features are named the same and that is not allowed. Is that in fact the case. . . ?

It does, thanks @DerekLaw . And that is a fair assessment. My guess is knowing you guys and knowing this architecture it probably will, but I understand you can't certify against what isn't finalized . . . 😊

Ok thanks @DerekLaw - will the current 2023.0 release monitor the 11.1 enterprise release? Why would it not? I mean the 11.1 release is imminent and we have to move to it if want the enhanced Map Viewer and Form capabilities....

Could be. Yes having the documentation there is needed for sure. I still need get my system admins to carve me out another vm on our host and set up a DNS for the machine so I can apply our CA cert. But yes, I did see that neither the 14.5 or the 13.6 version is available for download from that EDB site. In our MyEsri I see the PostgreSQL 13.6 DBMS for Windows, but not the 14.5. So I guess I'm going with 13.6 . . .

Ok thanks. Yes the very last thing I want to do is stand up another SQL Server instance just to run monitor. SQL licensing considerations too. So the system database requirements help says the supported versions are 13.6 and 14.5 and that newer minor versions are supported also. But 15.x doesn't sound like a minor version... Guess you're getting lucky?

Thanks for the feedback John. Sounds like we're about the same. I had planned on the PostgreSQL being on the same box with Monitor as well, much as Mongo is on the same box as my current 10.8.x Monitor is now. Seems like it's architected like Portal, but without the PostgreSQL - probably so it can remain database agnostic. I too would prefer a black box, but regardless, what version of PosgreSQL did you go with? 13.6?

We're not a postgres shop either. We are a Windows shop. Typically we carve out 8 core 32 gig VMs on our VM host to run all Enterprise components. As a rule of thumb we always go with 4 gig per cpu - maybe I'll do 4 and 16 for Monitor Server since it is lighter, as you say. But - Are you saying you needed to install a postgres instance on the server, then the Monitor server? Or does the Monitor server install add a postgres instance as part of it's install?

Hi @DerekLaw - I see the minimum requirements above. Is there a recommended hardware requirement for Server and Agent? That minimum seems pretty low. Like for the current 10.8.1 Monitor, the Mongo Db is using 10GB of memory. Will the memory use for PostgreSQL for Monitor be more like the PostgreSQL memory use for ArcGIS DataStore and/or Portal? Thanks- David
