Note, there isn't a way to copy the layer that includes making a copy of the data. The copy described above references the original feature layer. However, you can change the symbology of the layer, apply a filter and so on so that it can serve a different visual purpose in a map.

simo xu You can make copies of layers now from the Map Viewer and save them as unique items, that point to the original data source. Copy and save layers—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Thanks, Mike

Melanie Rosenberg You should be able to go to the item page, find the layer in question that contains the attachments, then click the small arrow next to the layer name to export to a file geodatabase. The file geodatabase should get created as a file item in My Content, which you can then download. If you are having problems exporting, there may be a problem that is specific to your hosted layer. In this case, I recommend calling Esri Support so they can troubleshoot the problem. Thanks, Mike

As I understand it, Collector for ArcGIS support editing related records, but nothing yet in the map viewer of arcgis.com. Thanks, Mike

Yes, in ArcMap, you can set the time zone for the layer through the Layer Properties dialog. The dates will still display with an offset in ArcGIS Online if you are not in the same timezone the data were collected in. Thanks, Mike

We are working on better drawing of date fields in the context of "smart mapping". So we want to use different symbols to represent different features both categorically and continuously. For example, draw features based on the day of the week they occurred, or time of day, or even season of the year. Similarly, be able to fade out features of older dates. We are actively working on this and I can see it getting released next year. I'm not sure at this point how it will impact actually filtering data, if we'll be able to filter by the same relative means. Mike

I thought you might be accessing the layer without signing in, for example, via a web app from a template. Did you disable the Data capability on the one layer when publishing? (i.e., Map, Data Query) What are the data sources of the layers the same? for example, both shapefiles, or from geodatabase? If you don't feel comfortable sharing a link to the layer publicly, you might consider calling Esri Tech support and have them take a look. Thanks, Mike

There could be an access problem. How have you shared your layer? Have you signed in to ArcGIS Online from ArcMap? If so, that may be why you can access it. If you can share the layer publicly and post the URL here, I can take a look to see if I can access it. Thanks, Mike

No there is nothing out of the box to support this. You might be able to write your own app to do this. However, you would still have to assemble a valid date (date + time) in order to store the value in a date field. As far as I am aware, there are no date field types that just have a time component. thanks, Mike

Chris, Editing related tables will not be in the next update. We've made progress on the project, but it's not ready to release. Hopefully, later this year. Thanks, Mike

Sorry, I'm not a coder. My sense is that you're overloading the server and it's not able to return all the features to you. You might actually be passing a lot of data between client and server, depending on the complexity of the features. For instance, how many vertices are there per feature? I'm guessing the server times out. Do you own the server? You might be able to check the server logs to see if there are any error messages. Mike
