1. There is no way as far as I know to apply the same filter to multiple layers. 2. Unfortunately, you can't change the message on the app online. You could download the app and host it yourself, however.

i believe domains should also work off a subtype. Domains connected to subtypes basically create a 2 level hierarchy. But your dataset you shared is empty. I'm not sure if that impacts things. Basically, the domain values display based on the value of the subtype. If you have no records and thus no value yet for the subtype field, I'm not sure we can figure out what domain to apply...

I see the issue. You've created the domains and populated them with values, but you haven't associated these domains with the field in your layer. Here's a graphic on how to do that from the Catalog panel in ArcMap. Note, right-click the feature class...my red arrow is a bit off.

Well, perhaps you can zip up some part of your data into FGDB and make it accessible here. Mike

OK, I misunderstood. I thought you were uploading a FGDB directly to Online, which appears to have a problem still. The Share As service workflow always works for me (but admittedly, I don't do it that often). This makes me think the problem is somehow related to your data and the way it's configured. We would need a way to reproduce the problem which means getting your data and trying it out. I think the best way to proceed is to open an incident with Esri Technical support so we can have a reproducible case. Mike

These two help topics should do it. First you need to sign in to ArcGIS Online from ArcMap. Then you create a map that has the layers you want to publish as a hosted layer. Then choose the File>Share as option... It seems this issue still exists. I'm not sure why it works in some cases but not in others. The good news is that I have a reproducible case at 10.4.1. The workaround, as mentioned previously, is to add the layers to a map, then publish that map. The domains come across in this case for me. Thanks for letting us know about this issue. Mike

The goal is to have the same table you see on the data tab available in the map viewer as well and we are working towards that. I'm not sure about Dashboard... As far as seeing photo attachments in the map viewer today, attachments are only visible in the popup window, and you have to make sure the popup is configured to show attachments.

A few of these features have started to appear in the ArcGIS.com website, specifically with respect to viewing related records and attachments. We've introduced a new Data tab on the item details page of feature layers that allows you to view the field attributes, properties, related records and attachments. Check out this blog for additional information: The new Data tab: More than just a table (June 2016) | ArcGIS Blog On the Data tab, you can navigate the individual records in the feature layer and view the related records. And not just one level; if there are nested relationships, you can navigate those as well.

As mentioned earlier, you can actually host images in ArcGIS Online. Simply upload your file to My Content. You must share the image with everyone to make it visible. For example, here's an image I found in AGOL. http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=28570c2d33604695b1d90f60660a4d25 To specify the URL to the actual image, http://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/28570c2d33604695b1d90f60660a4d25/data This URL is available on the item details page, in the right margin, under "URL" This image will work as a symbol in the map viewer. Strangely, this image URL is not working in many story maps apps...this appears to be a bug that we'll need to fix. Note that storing images in AGOL does consume credits as"tile and data storage" as described here for customers in the USA: http://www.arcgis.com/features/plans/credits.html . Thanks, Mike

Another option is to use the Map Viewer of AGOL If the layer supports editing, you can use the calculate tool on a field to set it's value. If the layer has a filter, only those filtered records will be calculated. You can access the calculate tool from by displaying the layer's attribute table. Click the header of the field you want to calculate to access the calculate tool. Apply filters—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Work with fields—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Note the Data tab doesn't currently support the Calculate tool...It will eventually.

i'm not sure why this isn't working for you. It looks like you've got the layer configured correctly. Did you republish to ArcGIS Online with the Overwrite option? I've tried this myself and it works for me. What version of ArcMap are you running?
