Hi, When a token is created, an expiration date and time is set. Once this time expires, the token will no longer be valid (max time is 2 weeks). If you reference images that require a token, the token will need to be updated frequently. Can you provide some information about how you are setting up your story map? -Is the feature service the source of data for the story map? -Can the feature service be shared publicly? Currently, one ArcGIS Online username can belong to one ArcGIS Online organization. One username cannot belong to two organizations. You can reuse your email address for many usernames. -Kelly ... View more

Currently, you can allow for users to use routing (ArcGIS Online or your own local service) using the following configurable apps: Directions, Local Perspective to allow your users to find a route to a spefic location.
