The issue is well known and discussed at different places (here for exemple https://community.esri.com/inbox?objectType=2&objectID=74029 ) You can find an exemple using this template here. - This widget was developed for ESRI's Classic Viewer to add sub layer visibility functionality to it. It won't work in ESRI's new 2015 Classic Viewer layout. For other templates additional work would be needed to make the widget compatible with the specific layout. - To add the widget to the template, you'll need to instantiate the dojo class: require(["eea/module/SubLayerTocMod"], function (SubLayerTocMod) { new SubLayerTocMod(<LayerList>); }); - You'd need to prevent the default layer selector from loading. - The widget expects to find a configuration variable in the global configOptions object. The TOC level represents how many layer levels will the TOC show at maximum. It's an integer and, if not set, only the topmost level will be shown. configOptions.tocLevel Widget develloped by Herdis Gudbrandsdottir (Thank you)

Finally we have some statistics in ArcGIS online. Cool, we have been waiting for that for a long long time. But what are these views? We are using webmaps in templates for most of our projets. We have put a google analytics on our templates (we use self made templates) and i can see there is not a 1-1 relation between the number of view of a webmap and the one on a template. Of course a higher number for a webmap would be logic and ok but it is the opposite. We have less views on webmaps than on webapps. Does anybody know what are these views and usage about?

We had the same kind of issue with ArcGIS Server 10.2.2 We wanted to have some private services and public services. All accessible via a reverse proxy and using a local ldap for user authentication IIS was not supporting this. We tried two different solutions: 1) Developing our own tool acting like a webadaptor but this may be way to unstable 2) Using the webadapter on a tomcat. There we had a bit more issue beacaue we found out that tomcat was pretty unstable on our Windows Server Environment. Then we had to go for one more tier to have a linux box with a webadapter. Today our solution is fine for us but a bit complex. Secured servies are accessed via one address going to the linux box and redirected to the Windows Server (with ArcGIS Server on it) Public services use another adress going directly to the windows box
