Hi
I am developing an application for risk assessment due to hazard.
I have a shape file of polygons of 5 million features.
I am performing calculations on the fields to obtain some values which uses near tool also.
Now I have two problems here,
1. The simulation is taking lot of time(around 60 hours)
2. I want an alternate solution for near tool to reduce the time. Or the algorithm for near tool.
I am using ArcGIS engine and VB.net developer environment
