Using word template footers in Localmaps Reporting for Maps with a print layout

Hey Localmaps team!

We use Localmaps for LIM reporting and are looking at rolling out a few more different types of reports. At the moment our LIM report map layouts are hard coded with eg. 'Land Information Memorandum - date xx-xx-xxxx' in the footer .

We'd like to use these maps across other reports without creating new map/print layouts with hard coded footers.

I've tested an alternative using a text box in the footer of a word document template, and this looks to bring the text through to the map in the report PDF, but it is sitting below\obscured by map page as shown in the image below.

Do you know if this is something that should work, or could be put on the roadmap?

Terry

HI Terry,

The issue with the text box is probably due to the way the map is inserted in to the page, so it will overwrite the text box as it gets set to come to the front. Its something that we should perhaps put in to the roadmap to allow people to set an optional header and footer on reports. I'll chat to the team about this and get it logged as an enhancement.
