When I do Add Data or Excel to Table, it will process with no issues, but the table isn't popping up in the contents pane like it should. It exists in my geodatabase, but only shows if I save and exit/reopen the program.

Also, the list of tables at the bottom of the contents pane doesn't have a name (i.e. "Standalone Tables"), it's just blank.

Are the tables you are working with derived from Excel spreadsheets?  I am not seeing this behavior with either SDE standalone tables or file gdb standalone tables in Pro 2.3.2, but the aprx file I work in is fairly new and I created the aprx file in Pro 2.3.2.  Were the aprx files you are working in created in a previous version of Pro and now being used in this latest version?  If so, maybe create a brand new aprx file in Pro 2.3.2 and see if you get the same standalone table behavior.

At least in my case, the tables are derived from excel spreadsheets. I do not have any issues adding or removing standalone SDE tables.

You are right that this behavior only occurs in projects created prior to the switch to 2.3. When I made a new project and replicated the workflow that was causing problems earlier, everything worked fine.

Still, many of the projects I work out of were created in earlier versions of ArcGIS Pro, so it would be nice to have this issue resolved.

At this point I would create a tech support incident and you can provide the information in this thread as useful background information so ESRI can replicate the issue.  I hope that the tech support person can create a project in an older version and then use the newer version to highlight your issue as that appears to be the workflow the issue lies.
