spatial join - empty output

Hi,

I am attempting to perform a spatial join of a road network with a polygon layer (containing over 3 million features), every time it runs, the process finishes without any error messages but the output feature is empty. I am working in GDB... any tips or ideas on what could be happening?

assuming that the files have the same coordinate system, I suspect that they are two big.  Did you try it on a subset?
