Hello:
I am interested in selecting features that include the following criteria:
1. Overlaps one or more polygons (likely a different shape but possibly identical); and
2. Contains an identical attribute in one of the fields.
For example, a species was inventoried on a particular date, and at some point after, was inventoried one or more times. So while the polygons may differ in size (or be the same), the species name will be the same.
Is there a tool or script that can be run to select features matching these criteria? While the selection tool can select features by attribute or location, I need one that does both.
Any help would be most appreciated.
