Run Tool From Geoprocessing History Log File?

Is there a way to run a previously executed geoprocessing tool from the log file .xmls? I ran a tool as a batch a while back, and it is no longer showing up in my geoprocessing results; though, I would like to reuse most of the input information (if possible) on a new feature class.

Thanks in advance!

to run directly, no, but to recreate what you did the information would be useful

Thanks. I will recreate this and be sure to save as tool this time. This was just a batch for adding many (30 some) fields of various data types, and I was trying to minimize the pain of the arduous redo

spit out the geoprocessing Results out to a script as well.  It is far easier to reconstruct, plus the file paths are all retained too.
