Hi Everyone,
Greeting:-)
I need your support on below requirement. Kindly suggest me with best possible solutions?
Below is the brief description about the requirement,
1.) We have a point data which relates each dealer in an area.
2.) Each dealer will be assigned with some % of allocation at run time.
3.) Based on the % of allocation, each point has to generate a polygon with different colors.
4.) The cumulative percentage of allocation will be 100%.
Thiessen polygon analysis tool is some what close to my @requirement but it won't give output based on our percentage of allocation values.
Thank you,
Venkata Naresh
Do you have the network analyst? location-allocation analysis
Hi Dan,
Thanks for your response.
Firstly, i don't have any idea about Network analyst tools. But I just gone through it yesterday and i felt like it may not fulfill my requirement as it wont create any polygon.
Kindly correct me if i am wrong.
Thanks in advance.
You want a service area output from the location-allocation result. Ideally you could use a concave hull on the result, but a convex hull might do. the latter is implemented in ArcMap
