I know Lauren Rosenshein has mentioned that in ArcGIS 10.1 will contain a new spatial stats tool called "Group Similar Features" but I can't afford to wait until this releases. (BTW: anybody know when?)
So what I need to do is this: I have a points shapefile which I'd like to search for clusters that have a similar attribute value (within a range) that are of a determined size (within a range). For example. I'd like to know where at least x number of contiguous points (edges or diagonal) contain the attribute values of .85 -.95.
Anyone have ideas? Help appreciated.
