Hello everyone,

After a FC inside a FD with a Geometric Network gets truncated and appended with new data, does the  topological connectivity of the Geometric Network gets automatically updated too.

The Truncate/Append is going to be done with a Python script. This is a a process that is going to be used to replciate changes from the read/write to the read only database.

Do you recommend to run the   Rebuild Geometric Network  tool after this load.

Thanks

Rebuild is not required to maintain the topological connectivity of the Geometric Network (GN)

A truncate effectively deletes all records.  It seems to me that you need to start from scratch, so yes; rebuild it.

That should just about do it....

If you are not using this tool; Loading new features into your geometric network—Help | Documentation then I would make sure to rebuild the network after loading the data to make sure network connectivity is correct.

Here are some tools that you can use also; About repairing network connectivity—Help | Documentation
