Domain description not showing up in Identify tool

I have a domain that appears to be working okay overall. But when I Identify a feature it only shows the code not the description. But the description is displaying in the attribute table for the same feature. Other domains appear to be working correctly within the Identify tool. Has anyone seen this one before?

I faced similar issue

to resolve I just needed  to apply/ assign the domain to the features subtypes. From arc catalog this was from Feature Class Properties >> Subtypes tab >> Default Values and Domains table
