IMGIS - Anastasiia

  • Our arenas during IMGIS

    • Monday, during partner presentations,13 - 14.15,

      • UNC with Mike and John, arena for questions

      • Technical session, deepdive

    • Roundtable/ SIG, 14.15 - 15.15, Tuesday

      • Electric and Gas, Question and answers.

      • Any topic for utilities, not only UN or UNC

      • Needs coordination and an agenda

    • Tuesday 16.15 - 17.15 → probably moved to Wednesday at 9.00?

      • UNC meetup, customer driven

      • Open for partners

      • Also: Arena for new electric and gas companies. Recruitement.

        • Value of a cooperation, what we get from working together

        • If time: Everyone can share their current status (1-pager) ahead, can be presented.

        • Ongoing activites and establishing working groups

 

  • Anastasiia to share a Storymap on sessions scheduled relevant for E&G.

 

  • All UNC abstracts have been accepted

    • Will be on schedule, upcomming next week.

 

  • If there are wished for meetups, possible to ask Anastasiia for this in advance.

 

For UNC, two suggestions for UNC during IMGIS:

  1. How do we organize within UNC?

    1. Any best practice from other SIGs?

  2. Establish 2-3 working groups

    1. Possible working groups:

      1. Model development, incl. documentation and best practice

      2. Platform and Utility Network development and roadmap

      3. Strategic/ market development, partner landscape

    2. Steering group?

 

  • Targets, UNC

    • Infuence ESRI’s direction

    • Develop the foundation

    • Encourage common practices in the market

    • Increase activity level

    • Cooperation is an inspiration

 

Each group could:

  • One responsible, at least 3-4 participants, from different companies.

  • Give a breif status during monthly meetings, and when there are larger meetings.

  • Share status on the community page.

  • Etc.
