I have a geodatabase in SQL server that also contains various tables not registered with the geodatabase. I'm having an issue where spatial views appear functionally correct in Pro. When published to ArcGIS Server the map points and attribute table are functional, however map popups do not work.
I initially had a somewhat complex view but back tracked and tested publishing a view that is just from a single feature class (select * from feature_class).
Do all views need to be registered with the geodatabase prior to publishing as a registered service?, or is there another issue I'm missing?
